Sorry, didn't realise, only looked at the Spotify version of the 6 Music playlist. Surely Gorillaz are still too exciting/relevant to be left to them? I reckon it's Damon's 90s Britpop association putting them off.

Also, I don't think the Gaga songs they C-listed/snubbed were any more Radio 2 than the Celine Dion-esque Adele singles they've played to death during the past 18 months. It's a very confused station, trying to alienate people in their thirties and forties that grew up with edgy bangers and aren't ready to cross over to the dark side.

Not really radio 1 have given Gorillaz projects huge support especially the Dare era albeit that was 12 years ago now, can't remember if the last era did much but it wasn't too successful or commercial!

Just listened to the new Tinie/Jake track - sounds really good as does the album!
