April 27, 20178 yr Yes. It's been real for about 2 years haha! We just never got a release date until now! :P Hopefully it's good. I've kind of gone off the original (that's what having a 4 year old niece did to it haha) but I did enjoy it. Hopefully more Olaf and Sven though and another killer soundtrack! As over played as it is, 'Let It Go' is an almighty pop song!
April 27, 20178 yr Yaaaay, excited for this but a shame it's a two and half year wait, feels like it's been ages since the first film and now we've got to wait even longer! I agree with Jonjo that it's kind of lost the magic it had when I first saw it upon multiple repeat viewings but it's still a lovely film. Excited to see which direction they take the plot in and hopefully we get another 'Let It Go' from the sequel
June 13, 20178 yr Wasn't so sure where to put this but I guess here works. We're getting another Frozen short film and this time it'll be playing before Coco during its theatrical release. Here's the trailer: hb8WDATVB6A I think it looks great, Olaf is such a brilliant character so I'm glad he's getting his chance to shine in this. I liked the high-five gag and also the tree corpse joke :heehee:
June 17, 20178 yr Author Wasn't so sure where to put this but I guess here works. We're getting another Frozen short film and this time it'll be playing before Coco during its theatrical release. Here's the trailer: hb8WDATVB6A I think it looks great, Olaf is such a brilliant character so I'm glad he's getting his chance to shine in this. I liked the high-five gag and also the tree corpse joke :heehee: OMG WHAT IS THIS & HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS!!!!! YASSSS <3 are we getting another new Frozen song for it like we did with Frozen Fever?!
February 13, 20196 yr I thought the original was pretty decent, haven't seen it since I saw it at the cinema though. This looks pretty good, not sure if I'll see it in cinemas though.
February 17, 20196 yr The trailer looks so epic. I loved when she is running on the sea and turning it into ice as she went.
November 25, 20195 yr I like the first one (don't love - it ranks about midtable of the Animated Classics) so my expectations for this weren't too high. I was pleasantly surprised! The soundtrack was once again strong and more than anything, the humour was so good. I was belly laughing at times. A genuine sequel and the bond between the sisters is once again a huge beautiful pairing.
November 28, 20195 yr Author Gotta come back for a quick post to say this is amazing obvs  It doesn't live up to the first one but I think that would've been basically impossible. Still an easy 10/10 <3 Into The Unknown & Show Yourself   (I can do without the solo Kristoff song, the worst song & scene of either movie x) Also Olaf recapping Frozen 1>>>>>>
December 4, 20195 yr Some Things Never Change is really nice, Into The Unknown is great too. As a whole though I was a bit disappointed tbh. Maybe because of how good the first movie was so it was giving me high expectations but... yeah. It was good but I won't be rushing to see it again, although I agree above that scene with Olaf nearly had me in stitches  I like how we got to know more of the worlds backstory, the fire spirit is ADORABLE and I liked the water/ice horse too. Actually the earth giants were pretty cool too. Maybe I like the movie more than I thought  Basically I just wanted Let It Go part 2 tbh (although Elsa being all 'ughh' at the memory of her singing was hilarious  9/10 :P
January 15, 20205 yr Finally saw this the other day and let me just say Frozen II > Frozen. I was never a huge fan of the original so my expectations for this sequel were not high at all but I decided to watch it anyway because I enjoy a good animated movie. I LOVED it and I feel the soundtrack is way stronger than in the original. Show Yourself is gorgeous (and honestly feels like a coming out song lmao which just furthers the theories that Elsa's journey is symbolism for coming out lol) and I loved the backstory, main story, Olaf and almost everything. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was, like most of you, Kristoff's thing. I was almost hoping Anna would break up with him by the end because it was such a tired storyline lmao. But lbr. Show Yourself should have been the main single, not Into the Unknown what.
July 26, 20204 yr Lost in the Woods is *easily* the best song of the series so far, though the Weezer cover is my version of choice.
