Next up we have Superstar, the clunky, quite cheery but simple tune which actually became a promotional single in Brazil (clearly the right choice going by these results :)). The song is very repetitive and lacks real depth but it's fairly enjoyable in an ironic way. The "ooh la la" can grate and it's clear why it's fallen out so quickly.

Keep going ~

'Turn Up the Radio' for me, although it was close between that and 'Give Me All Your Luvin''. Both have their catchy moments but they are fundamentally faceless and generic. 'Give Me...' has the advantage of being slightly humourous and ironically enjoyable, plus I figured it would be the one I'd like more if I heard on a night out.
Do you mean I wouldn't dislike them as much if they were just album tracks rather than having the spotlight of the single status on them? I suppose them not being singles could allow me to look back at the era with more fondness but I don't think my opinions on the songs themselves would change. They'd still disrupt the flow of the album and would still lack creativity and flare. If anything, the reason for me giving them the time of day at all would be because they are singles, what with the knowledge that they would be representing the album and forever be associated with it.
