May 8, 20178 yr The Ring The Shining Friday The 13th Psycho Coraline Plus I've seen the first half of Insidious so far (Thoughts on it: Really creepy) Also I've got Tiptoe Through The Tulips stuck in my head thanks to this film Edited May 8, 20178 yr by DalekTurret32
May 8, 20178 yr f***, Grave Encounters Whoever thought that ending was necessary need to be in prison for LIFE.
May 8, 20178 yr Threads - no contest. May not resonate quite so much with the post Cold War generation but you ask anyone over 40 who remembers watching it in 1984 and you'll soon realise it scared the living shit out of everyone. Still freaks me out in a way nothing else ever has A2EOSgmx-MA Edited May 8, 20178 yr by Severin
May 8, 20178 yr Bambi :kink: (horror film fanatics should get that reference) Hmm not seen loads but The Shining was quite scary Edited May 8, 20178 yr by HarryApa
May 8, 20178 yr 'The Exorcist' (and to a slightly lesser extent, 'The Blair Witch Project' - mainly for the last 15 mins or so) I refuse to watch 'The Exorcist' again. I understand it might be boring for people but I first saw it when I was very young, and it played on my mind so much to the point of finding it unwatchable.
May 8, 20178 yr The Exorcist Texas Chainsaw Massacre the original film. Both as scary as anything when I first saw them.
May 9, 20178 yr I don't normally watch scary movies, but I think The Woman in Black has to be the scariest. Ghost movies are soooooo chilling :( Edited May 9, 20178 yr by atrilliondollars
May 9, 20178 yr Alien the stomach exploding scene is quite retching. ITV got into trouble with Ofcom for showing this scene at 9:25am after CITV back in January during an news report on the passing of John Hurt.
May 9, 20178 yr For me it's actually Paranormal Activity, the first one. It was so subtle, slow still that it was the first and only horror movie to make me cry in fear. It's not my favourite horror film by far, I'm a huge horror fan of films from the 70s onwards but that's just the one that got be genuinely frightened the most.
