May 30, 20178 yr Can see RAYE having a low top 20 hit with The Line and then relying on shit features after that tbh Even that is a bit too optimistic for her now I think. Shame her debut single didn't deliver.
May 30, 20178 yr The Line doesn't look likely to be a top 40 based on its current performance, it'll struggle to even reach top 100.
May 30, 20178 yr Anne-Marie is the most likely surely? Agreed, she's in a really good spot to be huge right now! I hope she is, the run of Alarm/Rockabye/Ciao Adios has been flawless. RAYE could indeed deliver, The Line still has plenty of time in all fairness!
May 30, 20178 yr Oh yeah Anne-Marie too! I'm not sure about Raye doing that well, I think she might be like a Bebe Rexha figure who's had a couple of big features but never quite gets that right song for herself. You can't discount The Line yet though, it's been out like 2 weeks and songs can take like 2 or 3 months even to take off nowadays :drama:
May 30, 20178 yr One other female name I want to throw into the mix — Maggie Lindemann. Current single doing very well with the help of Cheat Codes and Cade. Thoughts on future success...?
November 25, 20177 yr Author So it ended up being Dua Lipa and Camila Cabello! RAYE is still going to be big.
November 26, 20177 yr Lol at me thinking Anne-Marie was going to be big. I suppose she can still turn it around in the new year, 'Heavy' was just such a misfire of a follow up single.
November 26, 20177 yr Dua Lipa managed to pull a #1 out of the bag after a super floppy single (Lost In Your Light) so there’s no reason why Anne-Marie can’t do something similar after a low-top 40 hit :)
