I hope it keeps pushing him down that's not enough to be #1 officially unless her streaming becomes huge too
From scrolling through the iTunes thread 2 weeks ago, it seems like Ari pushed Despacito combined down to 0.5592. It's surpassed that already, superb :D
Given the dominance of streaming nowadays, I suspect OLT would need to outsell 4-1 for the whole week to have a chance of overall #1.

Combined/Weighted

1 1.0000 Ariana Grande - One Last Time

2 0.4791 Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee - Despacito (Remix) [feat. Justin Bieber]

I think we can aim for a comfortable top 10 placing for OLT come Friday as opposed to the #1 (which would still be a lovely achievement!). Last night was pure magic.

Ariana Grande - One Last Time #1 & #5 & #38

I'm guessing that second version will probably to get number 3 during today.

Despacito is just too strong at the moment. Still, Top 10 should be doable and Top 5 would be a treat although maybe out of reach.

Ariana's surely got #2 in the bag I'd have said? She probably doesn't need more than 50k to achieve that and One Last Time is hammering Despacito on iTunes right now, which is still selling extremely well.

It won't be #1 because of the latter's massive streaming but I don't really see how she won't be #2!

1 Ariana Grande - One Last Time

1.0000

2 Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee - Despacito (Remix) [feat. Justin Bieber]

0.3773 0.4750

And 4 with 20%! Ufff if Despacito didn't have 1M streams a day!

+ 35 with 5%!

Kworbs Updated

Ariana - 1.0000

Despacito - 0.3773

That doesn't factor in the other versions of the songs though - but she is pulling ahead rapidly

She could still do it if her streaming climbs too.

I really hope by some miracle she manages #1 officially, it'll be such a shame if she doesn't.

Seriously who is listening to a tuneless Spanish song of BAD raggaeton, when there is MUCH MUCH better, which they can't even understand? Beggars belief.

Nearly all the top10 is of that concert. Almost like the acts were rhere for their own exposure, don't you think...

Not at all. NONE of the artists were paid. They were there for support, I'm sure they didn't even think for one second about the exposure.

Most of the artists don't even need the exposure they are all massive selling acts anyway.

Ariana's numbers on both charts are rapidly growing still, hopefully they won't fall by Friday and I think #1 could be in the bag. Highly likely Despacito will be back on top the week after though

Well, aren't you a delight?

I'm pretty sure all of them did it because they genuinely care about the situation and wanted to help. Of course the music was going to benefit, it was watched by ten million people, but I really don't think that will have been at the forefront of any of their minds. A very needlessly cynical view of a beautiful, unifying thing you've taken there.

Oh and people often listen to songs because they like how they sound, and your opinion isn't an absolute.

Well said. Miley is a perfect example of this. She could've played Malibu and given it a huge boost but she chose not to because she wasn't there for the exposure, she was there to support and pay tribute to those affected. Liam Gallagher chose to play his brand new song but that's Liam all over
