Apparently between each track there's commentary by her from the time about each song

  • Got my, looks stunning! I wish they re-release her other catalogue stuff as it is sold out (Bittersweet in the first place, please)

Disappointingly there was no single/ep release last week. So Sophia Loren and Dear Jimmy remain unavailable on streaming.

I didn't know the best place to post this so I thought I'd put it here. Unsure if it was worthy of having it's own thread in the Pop & Country Forum.

Sophie will be releasing a 25th Anniversary Edition of her debut album Read My Lips, released on April 18th.

The release will contain the standard 14 tracks but will also include these 6 songs as extras:

Dear Jimmy, One Way Or Another (Blondie cover), Come Over All Summer are ones I've wanted on streaming for such a ling time. So I'm really hoping that this anniversary release finds its way to digital streaming platforms.

Were they B-sides or something, or are they previously (officially) unreleased?

Did anyone pick up the Read My Lips 25th Anniversary Edition vinyl?

I’m hoping at some point this finds its way to streaming.

Oh wow.

Looking at her instagram posts she’s clearly put a lot of love and effort into this release.

I'd love to see "Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)" get a second wind in the chart like "Murder On The Dancefloor" did. It's such a summery song, and one of my childhood songs.

25th Anniversary Edition out now on streaming!

So happy to finally have Dear Jimmy and One Way Or Another on streaming.

Also it’ll be good to hear Want You More and Come Over All Summer.

'Dear Jimmy' being part of this feels odd, as it's something that came about in 2006 in the run-up to album 3.

I agree, it fits in more with Trip The Light Fantastic.

To be honest though I'm not complaining. I'm just happy it's finally on streaming! ❤️
