October 15, 200620 yr Author 20 James Morrison - Wonderful World (Downloads Only) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1709432.JPG reviews Oct 2006 22-year old James Morrison has achieved success beyond his wildest dreams. His debut single 'You Give Me Something' has remained in the Top 20 since release (17th July), and his album 'Undiscovered' went straight in at Number One where it remained for 2 weeks. The release of new single, the soaring pop ballad 'Wonderful World' is set to cement James' already growing fanbase and continue to make James one of 2006's success stories. - HMV Wonderful World Video here: [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-buoAHkYD9o.swf track listing Disc One 1. October 15, 200620 yr Author I like Badly Drawn Boy's records and this is a good record and the video is very interesting especially since the car used in the clip we all wish we could buy in real life. I kinda feel the song is bland and not doing them much of a favour. Perhaps indicating the chart position.
October 15, 200620 yr Like this song by him. He's not that bad but nothing to shout about. I think he'll be top 5 and I can see Meatloaf being huge as well. (Well he already is but you know what I mean).
October 15, 200620 yr Author This has somewhat grown on me... Yea, the deserves some credit, although the video is a bit naff.
October 15, 200620 yr I really don't like this James Morrison song. I even hate it more than You Give Me Something. It'll probably be number one next week though judging by its download only position. :(
October 15, 200620 yr 36 The Ordinary Boys - Lonely At The Top (Download Only) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/BUN112CD.JPG reviews Oct 2006 The Ordinary Boys return with brand new single 'Lonely At The Top', taken from their forthcoming third album 'How To Get Everything You Ever Wanted In Ten Easy Steps'. With their front man Preston's appearance on Celebrity Big Brother taking him from indie kid to a household name overnight, it is rather fitting that their comeback single 'Lonely At The Top' is a head nodding ode to the obsession of the very apt subject of the love/ hate people have with flash in the pan celebrity and the 15 minutes of fame factor. - HMV Video here: [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7oxcS2h5W4.swf Discussion Thread Here Comeback record wasn't there last song made the top 10 last summer?
October 15, 200620 yr Not really keen on the new track from the Ordinary Boys, but I bet Nicky will be please, I reckon it be at least Top 15 next week. Same download position as Nine2Five and that got to #6 so I AM pleased :cheer:
October 15, 200620 yr Author 19 (from 18) The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/FALLOUTLP2.JPG Combining the post-punk energy and attitude-filled delivery of The Libertines and Razorlight, with a hint of glam and a dash of 60's influenced songwriting, 'Chelsea Dagger' offers a new twist on the current crop of youthful UK Indie bands. Causing quite a stir in the music press, 'Chelsea Dagger' is the third single from The Fratellis and is taken form their forthcoming debut album, 'Costello Music'. - HMV UK Release 28/08/2006 Tracklistings CD 1. October 15, 200620 yr I really don't like this James Morrison song. I even hate it more than You Give Me Something. It'll probably be number one next week though judging by its download only position. :( The single chart is so predictable each week, its getting naff.
October 15, 200620 yr It won't be when they bring in this new rule. Songs will be climbing up like mad for weeks before a physical release.
October 15, 200620 yr The new Ordinary Boys song is a grower, sticks in your head. I hope it can get top 10 next week.

But I'm happy that the lead singer got a crewcut because he looked terrible with make-up and long hair but then again Boy George looked like that 20 years ago when his herion problems started to take over from him personally.

October 15, 200620 yr Arghhh why does the best song these bints release have to perform the worst? I love it so much - it's so uplifting and poppy - one of my favourites of the year  I wish they did more stuff like this instead of Buttonz and Don't cha. :puke:
