Johnny is just forgettable, if he wasnt on screen he wouldnt be missed. I agree seeing characters like Ronnie, Roxi, Abi, Laureen, Aunt Babe all axed with characters like Johnny and shakil still in the show is frustrating.

From the ones axed Aunt Babe i miss the most as part of me was bored with Ronnie and Roxi but i wish Abi wasnt axed, i think she has huge potential. The show has improved in the last few weeks, but the gas explosion, shooting was totally pointless as no one died or it didnt have an impact. Stephen dying was seperate to this so they could have just done that and no gas explosion.

Part of me just wants to fast forward to 6 months time as John Yorke will have shaken everything up.

I miss the Masoods in their golden era. I would have loved to have seen Nancy have a storyline with Tamwar where she tries to adapt to his religion and have Zainab go all boss assed bitch on her
That Zainab never returned still bothers me to this day.
Why is Kathy shocked no one tells her anything? Doesn't she remember she forgot to tell them she was alive for nearly 10 years?!

That's exactly what I said last night and I wouldn't be surprised if this was Ian's response to her too!

Also, lots of people on Twitter thinking last night's episode was the wrong one because Kush appeared fine... But we have had the weekend and his operation is usually an overnight thing. I also wouldn't be surprised if they've decided to catch themselves up as they were over a week behind in the timeline.

They are friggin superheroes - he was fine ad alive after a steroid heart attack, a bus attack, a knife attack, an explosion!!!

Problem with Kathy is they completely botched her return storyline and made her seem incredibly selfish ('Gavin made me' doesn't work given he never appeared as much of a threat) and so any time she shows some sort of concern, it's really difficult to take her seriously. Her granddaughter died and she waited almost a year later to show her face. Let's not forget it was also almost 3 years since her son went to prison.

They could have handled it well but she's just a joke now which does mean she fits into the current show quite well.

I don't even know why Abi is still hiding anything. The only person left who'd give a shit is Lauren and Abi doesn't seem that arsed about hurting her.

Kathy realising her own irrelevance *.*

Last nights duff duff was just pitiful

Do we know when Sean O'Connors last episode goes out?

PLEASE GOD let it be soon :(

From DS

"Yorke started in mid/late June which was 3 months ago. They film 2 months in advance and episodes are written way before that anyway. Not to mention the fact they plan the storylines before that anyway, so I doubt we'll see any of Yorke's proper material on screen until around Christmas/New Year time.

Besides, O'Connors name is still on the credits. DTC started in August 2013 and his first episode aired on the 9th of December 2013, so we should see Yorke's name appear on the credits by late October, but even then I expect this will be wrapping up SOC's storylines for about 6 weeks, similar to how DTC wrapped up Lorraine Newman's era in December 13/January 14."

SIGH.

And someone on Walford Web said Yorke's 1st episode as Creative Director is rumoured to be Thursday 5th October so *shrug*
That has to be Patrick Bergin at the end of the episode. :D

I thought he was joining as an old prison "friend" of Phil's?

I HOPE TO GOD it isn't Gavin.

Isn't Gavin banged up

And another thing has Ian forgotten about Cindy, when he was talking to Kathy he was thinking of his 4 kids, obviously Lucy, Stephen, Peter and Bobby.
The Willmott-Brown theory was basically confirmed today with Fi being confirmed as Sophie and the shady figure at the end being 'an old friend' of Kathy.
