Either the producers have lost touch or there's not much else to show at the moment!

July 18, 20177 yr Author Also, totally agree with Love Island posts earlier :lol: I've already said but I'll say it again, they're doing more harm than good by following Love Island focusing SO much on Sam and Ellie (and Lotan and Ellie when he was in it). I know Viacom has always been taking it in the wrong direction, but Love Island blew up entirely this year so it just looks really desperate more than anything to try and be like it. As a few of us have already said, they need to exacerbate the differences and focus on what sets Big Brother apart, emphasise the game playing and manipulation that makes the US version so good maybe. But anyone who wants to see "romance" and sex and all that drama will get it from Love Island, they do what they do so well clearly as it's smashing the ratings. I know they're not in direct competition most nights (if any now tat C5 even move evictions to avoid Love Island :')), but most of the general public if they've watched Love Island won't want the exact same from a show an hour later. Ofc there are reality TV fans who'll like both but by and large BB should be in the lane they excel at not trying to chase the scripted reality trend becasue it just looks desperate. Hopefully Issy or Deborah winning (if it even happens) will show that the public want more of those sort of housemates and less wannabes and reality veterans... But Chloe didn't show that, Jason didn't show the public might actually like game players, so why would either of those change anything? :lol:

July 19, 20177 yr Andrew would be completely stupid not to evict Sam, but as its Andrew you never know, he will try and make a drama out of it regardless. Once he doesn't evict Chanelle, Isobel, Deborah or Raph i will be happy and i don't think he will. I wouldn't be shocked if he evicts Hannah.
