October 15, 20177 yr Really surprised Davood was in the dance-off :/ Such a marked improvement this week, and I thought being the hottest guy on th show plus being a fairly prominent EE character he'd get enough votes at least for now. Charlotte was definitely the right one to go, she just wasn't for this show really.
October 15, 20177 yr I can see Brendon possibly quitting Strictly after being eliminated. Never looked happy at all in this series and the 'supposed' frosty relationship with Shirley.
October 15, 20177 yr I don't think the main players at the BBC will want anybody rocking the family friendly Strictly boat so I'll be very surprised if they don't axe Brendan next year. It's a shame because it's a breath of fresh air to see one of the pros actually have an opinion. Also, Brendan's wife tweeted this https://twitter.com/TheZoeCole/status/919299136557633536  He's definitely danced his last Strictly dance. Edited October 15, 20177 yr by jase.
October 16, 20177 yr Author I can see Brendan possibly quitting Strictly after being eliminated. Never looked happy at all in this series and the 'supposed' frosty relationship with Shirley. This. His speech after getting eliminated last night sounded like that of a defeated man. The trouble is with Brendan he's notoriously been one of the more competitive professionals in the whole time he's done it - only James Jordan has been more arrogant than him - and unless he has a real contender he's usually not that happy (Lulu in 2011, anyone?)
October 17, 20177 yr Author Week 5 songs and dances revealed! https://twitter.com/bbcstrictly/status/920345503283499009
October 20, 20177 yr Author No Bruno on tomorrow night's show, apparently: http://metro.co.uk/2017/10/20/bruno-toniol...-years-7013818/
October 20, 20177 yr I wish there was a replacement judge, having one week of 30 maximum scores seems so jarring :(
October 20, 20177 yr That is so annoying  When I look across the chart and momentarily forget I'll be like "omg alex only got 28 that week flop". I'm sure there's a professional or even ex contestant who'd judge :drama: Especially when it was a "prior work commitment", if he was ill suddenly and had to miss it i'd understand a bit more.
October 20, 20177 yr It is a bit annoying and there could have been arrangements for a guest judge but I'm so used to this happening on DWTS (Len AND Julianne have been guilty of this!) that seeing this on Strictly doesn't faze me. I'm saying it now: MARK BALLAS GUEST JUDGE. Pretty sure if there's some kerfluffle regarding Shirley he would be the first to stand up for his mother.
October 21, 20177 yr Oh that is annoying. I can imagine the scores will all feel a little underwhelming today
October 21, 20177 yr Surely it isn’t a work commitment and it’s more a personal commitment? Like he knows he’s busy every Saturday from September to December!!
October 21, 20177 yr He does judge on Dancing with the Stars as well? Why need to cancel though. Exhaustion?
October 21, 20177 yr Author Live blog happening in the usual place as always tonight: http://wp.me/p4UO9N-AQ I'm not surprised there's no guest judge this week. Especially after Donny Osmond 'giving Frankie a 10' gate of the 2014 series...
October 21, 20177 yr Yeah true  On paper it's good, but if they get say an ex contestant they just don't have the same level of expertise ofc, so they're probably gonna be a bit more generous than perhaps needed  He does judge on Dancing with the Stars as well? Why need to cancel though. Exhaustion? Yeah but that's on a Tuesday i think and tbf he's done it for years and managed it so is probably used to it.
October 21, 20177 yr Do you know what's the average score Craig gives? It always seems to be half of what everyone else gives.
October 21, 20177 yr Eek at Alexandra basically being 7th on the scoreboard :o I can see a shock this week, probably her or like Mollie bottom because of all the ties, and then one of the guys who were joint bottom and Simon/Brian will obv go.
