Oops at me not having heard ANY of these before, although Burning House is vaguely familiar. it's like a bunch of new songs. Either way, amazing as ever from Andy.

So this was finally supposed to be released on Friday after several pushbacks. Except Decca cancelled the release the week before - something Andy didn't even know about until people Tweeted him to inform him so!

Fortunately, Amazon.co.uk still had it available for download for a short time on Friday morning - I don't think it's still available now (just checked. It's still available!).

I'm doing a full review for my blog, but really, a great album. Shame on Decca for mucking him around with the release of this. Easily up there with The Shires and Ward Thomas' albums. Hopefully he can still do a physical release via crowd funding.

OMG THANK YOU for the hesds up  This album was the only thing getting me through my recent health worries and I was SO gutted to get that email saying it was cancelled.

This is like a perfect companion to Golden by Kylie  they are both superbly written and blend pop and country so magically.

OG Hollow  keeps hitting me, sounds like Andy and his wife suffered a misscarriage before they had their son? Poor couple.
There are physical copies of the album available on Amazon now so they must have issued a limited number.

Limited by one fewer now.

I fele like this is just whatever stock had been sent out before it was canned.

I really don’t get Decca’s last minute decision to pull this? The CDs had been printed, all the signed pre-orders were good to go, the digital version had been sent to Apple, Amazon etc., so to pull it that late is quite a big decision! Even if it had shifted 1,000 copies that’s got to be better than it selling 0 after its all ready to go?
Plus they'd now have lost a fair bit of money? Payments for the pre-orders having to be refunded, the cost of printing them etc.

The losses on this must be huge especially as they have said they will not release it now. Studio time, production and mastering, CD pressing etc., - I just don’t understand why they would pull a totally finished album at literally the last minute when they have already spent to ££.

Well some copies are available via Amazon so it’s such a shame a proper release never came to life. To be fair, it probably would have charted low but I feel for him as an artist given all the hard work he put into the album.

Most copies got snapped up on Amazon and they have increased the price to £15 as only one place has them left now so doubt many copies actually made it out there - mine is on its way :cheer:

Terrible for Andy to have it scrapped at the last minute and with it being available on Amazon MP3 for a few days and the CD being sold it’s esentially released and being shared a lot so even if he does get rights to the album and releases it this will dent the already low sales it would have got. I do think he could have actually made the Top 40 before plummeting out tbf.

My copy of the album arrived yesterday. I’ve listened to it but it didn’t really stand out much. It’s much less poppy than Lawson’s material. May take a few listens!

Andy confirmed on his socials last night that, er, 'About Last Night' is his new single and is out this Friday. One of my favourites on the unreleased album so I'm glad he's gone with that one. Hopefully he'll be able to give us some confirmation on what happens with the album now.
I’m not impressed with the album. It’s no way as good as anything he did with Lawson. Nothing particularly stands out at all.

Even though this will do nothing I’m excited he’s moving forward so quickly after Decca screwed him over - guessing he must have the rights to the album if he’s releasing tracks from it?

Andy’s take on the Greatest Showman album now on iTunes and streaming plus Lawson reunion show coming up - all we need now is for his solo album to get a release :kink:

Finally, some official movement! Andy's confirmed the release of the album is next Friday, 14th December on Instagram today: https://twitter.com/TeamAndyBMusic/status/1...747702730514433

So pleased he’s finally getting the album out there - I bought a copy on CD from Amazon when they made some available by mistake but will streaming although it’s not going to be troubling the Christmas charts!
