October 17, 200619 yr I know this may sound abit silly to ask but....is the iTunes chart the same as the official downloads that count to the official charts? If so Girls Aloud are at #11 so far on downloads on the iTunes chart...but I'm guessing that's a totally different chart on it's own.
October 17, 200619 yr It's no surprise at all that Rogue Traders are one hit wonders. I don't get the fuss over their new single. Then again I thought Voodoo Child was overrated as well. Well obviously you aren't into this type of music then; can't please everyone. But their album is very consistant, and is very good definately not the stuff one hit wonders are made of I'll have you know.
October 17, 200619 yr That's disgusting about the Rogue Traders. <_< Meatloaf LMFAO I knew he'd be in the top 10 :kink: And Chemmie will tail off next week - so many new releases and the album out as well but I am very pleased they are set to make it a 2nd week.

Completely different chart altogether, if its #11 on the itunes chart, Girls Aloud could be between 25-35 in the official chart

They are the biggest download site responsible for nearly 38% of all downloads sales, so they are the best guide or indication to how a single is doing on downloads. PS. Fedde Le Grande is not available to download. So it looks like it going to save its sales for one big push next week when the physical single is released.
October 17, 200619 yr I'm really happy for the Pet Shop Boys, and :puke2: about Amy Winehouse. It just goes to show that getting drunk and making an idiot out of yourself does shift units.
October 17, 200619 yr yay for girls aloud! hope it makes top 3 when released on pyhsicals. and lmao at amy winehouse, made a complete tit of herself and this is doing really well for her. her highest chart position is in the 60's i think. but tbh she has gone all commercial so i knew she would have more sucess this time around. :P
October 17, 200619 yr Completely different chart altogether, if its #11 on the itunes chart, Girls Aloud could be between 25-35 in the official chart Oh right thanks for explaining, bloody hell at this rate they will end up #1! They are at #8 atm.
October 17, 200619 yr glad Cassie is top 40 on downloads :D hopefully she will climb a bit during the week and then manage to go top 10 next week :cheer: :cheer:
October 17, 200619 yr Author glad Cassie is top 40 on downloads :D hopefully she will climb a bit during the week and then manage to go top 10 next week :cheer: :cheer: I doubt it to be honest, there seems to be a lot of download entries in the chart, she could miss the top 10 completely, and Me & U is still in the top 40
October 17, 200619 yr I doubt it to be honest, there seems to be a lot of download entries in the chart, she could miss the top 10 completely, and Me & U is still in the top 40 Shes higher then Girls Aloud and Rihanna though and r & b tends to climb more during the week and i think it will be popular on physical aswell G.A will beat it when its released on physical though but still think that Cassie will go top 10 prob around #8 or #9ish ;)
October 17, 200619 yr Fought Girls aloud would be the highest download only song this week :o They tend to sell more in the shops though. Cant believe Amy Winehouse is high download alone entry, she totally derverses it best song by her ever.
October 17, 200619 yr ......and :puke2: about Amy Winehouse. It just goes to show that getting drunk and making an idiot out of yourself does shift units. Well it worked for Lily Allen. :P Still Amy was brilliant on Sharon Osbourne's show. I really hope the single goes Top3, & I hope that The Word's magazine review claiming that her second album "Back To Black" is the best British album (so far) this year is true.
October 17, 200619 yr i hope meatloaf remains top 5,its a great cover of a great song plus its long time since he had a top 10 hit,im surpried with beyonce and amy winehouse charting so high on downloads and im hoping girls aloud climb very high next, i hope pet shop boys can maintain a top 20 position, im surprised to see my chamical romance still on top but im happy enough about that, anyone know how far scisoor sisters are behind the killers inalbum chart?
October 18, 200619 yr I take it McFly haven't been released onto downloads yet either :-0 Big week next week!!! I will be buying a few singles I think :-) According to C4 teletext Rogue Traders are one of the new entries in the top 40, although they were listed last so probably they are around No.37-40...
