03 Homemade Dynamite 9.1136 (4x 11s, 6x 10s, more 9s

Finishing with the bronze medal is current single Homemade Dynamite. I believe she had help with this from Tove Lo so I was really excited to hear it but it could've been better. I think I gave it a 10 though  Lorde released a remix featuring SZA, Post Malone and Khalid only a few days ago. Could it be a smash?

STAY TUNED FOR THE WINNER!

Will it be Green Light or Perfect Places? Predictions please!

Will announce the winner tomorrow ^_^

Same

Dynamite is much much better

Has Perfect Places really made top 2?!!! It's good and everything but it's not anywhere near top 2 worthy on this album.
'Perfect Places' definitely doesn't deserve top 2. It is great but not as great as some of the others.
My top 3 would’ve been ‘Sober II (Melodrama)’, ‘Perfect Places’ and ‘The Louvre’ I think.

02 Perfect Places 9.27

Finishing in 2nd place is the second single, Perfect Places. Now I find this absolutely gorgeous. It has a punchy chorus that I love and can never settle for just one play. It has to be played on repeat at least 3 times to get enough

This didn't do well chart wise, but to me it doesn't matter because it can be considered as a hidden gem

01 Green Light 10.1

Ending with an average over 10, YOUR WINNER IS GREEN LIGHT. This is the song of the year for me and is easily within my top 3 songs of all time. I loved it from the very first listen and knew that it was something special. It didn't do amazing chart wise worldwide, peaking at 19 in the US and made the top 40 in most major markets. It was a big hit in the UK though, peaking at 20 and having great longevity.

This is again, one of those songs where one listen is simply never enough. It's upbeat which masks the true emotion behind it so sometimes I can have a little bop to it and all is great, whereas sometimes I can legit cry over it. I think the throwing in of many emotions is what Lorde does best. It works so well.

The video is also incredible and provided us with some iconic moments. The dancing on the car is funny tbh and I just love how she is the focus all the time within the video. Most other music videos feature a load of people but this is just her which is great.

So there you have it - Green Light is your winner. And rightfully so. Thanks to everyone who commented and made my first rate a success!

Thanks for doing the rate! I haven't had much to say but have been reading along with a lot of interest the whole way. Very pleased with the top two!
Yeah thanks for running this! "The Louvre" definitely should've been top three (or even #1) but otherwise it was a pretty perfect top two :D
