OCC are reporting on this too: http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/m...-albums__22535/

They seem eager for new Madonna music, even including her on a list of "albums still to be released in 2018" article, despite it probably being Q1 2019 at the earliest it'll arrive, unless Madonna's been secretly going hard in the studio in amongst her MDNA Skin work.

She may be revisiting old material . She has loads left over with him.
I'm more excited about the fact she is now doing multiple takes again rather than just doing one and moving on.

Studio version of 'Beautiful Game' coming?! :o

  • Author

OCC seem to suggest it's going to be a single? Maybe they're getting ahead of themselves, could just be a 'buzz' single of sorts.

This snippet was posted on insta. Intro to the studio version of 'Beautiful Game'?

Quite a few news outlets are saying Beautiful Game is the first single but I think they've all just got their info from what the OCC said.

What's people's thoughts on Beautiful Game, just judging from the live clip?

Apparently details of Madonna's album have been leaked online, specifically some song titles and their content:

Metro:

Those titles include Risky Places – which, it’s claimed, lists off the places where Madonna would like to have sex (which apparently includes Kendrick Lamar’s bathroom) – Dos Hermano (which is partly sung in Spanish) and Turn Back Time. Two other tracks – Smartgun, which tells the story of a black boy who is shot by police, and Persistence – have also been brought to light in the leak.
.

The List:

'Risky Places' is said to list off where the 59-year-old star would like to have sex, including a golf course, church, her father's basement, a cemetery and hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar's bedroom.

The 'Into The Groove' hitmaker is also believed to rap parts of the song.

'Dos Hermano' is partly sung in Spanish and is a slow ballad about two brothers who are separated by immigration laws.

Whilst 'Turn Back Time' is believed to have been co-written with Joe Henry - who last worked with Madonna on 2012's 'Falling Free' - and reportedly sees Madonna reflect on having an abortion when she was young and all the things the child has missed out on.

'Smartgun' tells the story of a black boy who is shot by police, and 'Persistence' features the repeated line: "If you want something, you have to ask for it."

Not going to lie, it sounds like a mess :')

I thought it was going to be a really personal, stripped back album but it sounds like a mix of MDNA and the horny parts of Rebel Heart.

Good to see she's discussing some very important issues facing the world right now though in the middle of the horn~

Yeah, safe to say most people will eye roll when they read about 'Risky Places'! The rest sounds promising though - as you say, Bal, it's nice to hear Madonna is discussing topical issues through her music: that feels much more like the Madonna of old and it's what people have come to expect from music in this day and age. I was hoping her becoming more familiar with Portuguese culture/music since taking residency there would have an effect on her music and I feel 'Dos Hermano' could be an example of this.

Like Rebel Heart, I guess you have to accept that the sexy side of her music is always going to be there, just as long as there is plenty of gold amongst it (it's not even Madonna involving sex in her music that's the problem, it's just that it's not done, in many people's eyes, very well. Like, give me modern day Erotica by all means if it's witty and clever).

Damn, it sounded messy but interesting haha. Well it is better to not have leaked details out there,
The person who posted that stuff on Reddit has confirmed its fake!

Phew - was sounding very messy. Lets hope there are no more Minaj Collabs too.....
