Can you remember all that off the top of your head Laura or are you reading it from something .

I remember the NYC bit but could not remember when it was , it was quite a long time after his rehab stint then . Did he take a break of nearly three years at the time , it did not seem that long

I can remember it. I am a fan you know

He did take a break of three years.

Close Encounters tour ended December 2006.

Re-hab February 2007. Then he did football - do you remember LA Vale? That lasted all the way through summer/autumn 2007.

2008 he kept a very low profile.

January 2009 they moved back to UK and he said that he was bringing out a new album. That came in October/November 2009.

I can remember this so clearly because that was when I started posting on RWAP and TRWS and there was so much chat. Prior to 2006 I can only remember the really big dates.

Before 2002 I couldn't tell any dates. I just remember the songs I liked. I wasn't a mega fan then so I only knew about the music. I knew nothing really about the man. ^_^

Gosh !! you have some memory Laura, I do remember bits & pieces but cannot tie it in with anything definite

I do know exactly where I was when I saw him at Knebworth, it was the pub :P

I do remember LA Vale, I wonder what happened to his guys that were in that team, is he still friends with them , does he still play football in LA , I guess it's off limits with the bad back.

I do remember seeing the video where he met the TT guys in NY where they were working on the album & how terrified he was of the reaction he would get if he appeared on stage with them

"Good Moaning "

]Good Moaning' to you too Laura , do you know Allo Allo is on of my favourite tv shows ever , they show repeats every now & then & I still think it is hilarious, so well written . I Loved Renee , The best episode was the one where he was supposed to be dead & they had to have the funeral , I can still see them running down the hill like mad-hatters

He sold his LA football pitch a few years ago. Maybe three years ago? Where's Alex? I'm sure he'd remember all this stuff. :)

Also - I know one of the LA Vale players used to house sit the old LA house and his dogs when he and Ayda were in the UK. I can't remember his name but it was David double - barrelled someone. I think he fell out with some of the players over money they wanted to borrow. I remember a Sun article and an RW blog on it. I think they may have tried to take advantage of his generosity. -_-

and I haven't finished it yet either.

Linda Robson was on Loose Women yesterday and mentioned that she spent a "lovely" day with Ayda and Robbie in LA.

So all is well and hopefully he is happy and chilling with the family. :)

I have got no further in the book , I do not know what is wrong with me lately , too busy I guess . I have even taped Liar on tv & have not had the chance to watch it yet :(

Where are in the book now Laura

Less than fifty pages to go Tess and then I need to read the whole thing again in the correct order and take it all in.

I read a really interesting bit about the TT reunion two days ago.

How Robbie and Jason had many conversations when TT first got back together in 2006 and became quite close through their emails. How the meetings went when they first got back together as a five (although that bit has been well documented already). His absolute joy when their differences were ironed out.

and I read again Robbie's "plan" for he and GB to release their solo albums on the same day in 2012, thereby generating a "war" between them. :o

I remember when that "rumour" surfaced in the newspapers and on various RW forums everyone said "surely he wouldn't suggest that, it can't be true?" Well apparently he did and it's only because Gary was really anti the idea that Robbie ditched it because he didn't want to upset him.

Thank goodness Gary Barlow has more sense. Robbie really is his worse enemy sometimes. :o

I do not know why he would want to do something like that , is it a bit like when he says he posts something on Twitter on then regrets it too seconds later, he has that compulsive nature which has done him no favours over the years , GB was never going to agree to that , was he. Robbie is very immature in ways but I would think those that know him very realise that & know how to handle him with out falling out as might have happened years ago.

I could understand the conversations with Jason, both are very deep thinkers I would think & would have discussed things in great depth

I must really try & get back to reading the book, I have to go to the UK next week working so I will take it with me

Ok, I got to pages 100/101

Best quote so far ... ' She was really kissy and cuddly and smoochy - It's a lovely thing now - and if she could have got inside me she would have done , she was that in love with me . And it was .... " oh, get off "

Is that a typical Northern lad

Page 421 - refers to a letter he sent to NMS in November 2006 about his time in TT - listing all ways he felt Nigel had let him down during those years.

"But he also sent the letter to his four former band mates. What he would hear back in time, directly and indirectly, would be the most important thing of all. Because he'd been alone with his memories and his truth of what had taken place for so long, and what he most needed to be told was what he would now begin to hear: Yes. All of that happened."

This paved the way for their re-union.

No. that wasn't shared. :)

I would love to have seen a short paragraph on their reaction to his letters & did Nigel reply , I guess it is too private . He is a really deep thinker, is he not .

I am going to the UK tomorrow evening until Friday & will take my book with me & hopefully I will get through another bit of it. I still have not finished my vampira book

Currently reading the new @robbiewilliams biography and I thought this gem fits so well with Pro Wrestling too. What a worker.
