I've deleted that message Vibe, while I'm sure it was intended as a joke, I am sure it could be taken in a different way and was unnecessary.

Excuse me? It was clearly intended as a joke but I knew you wouldn't see it as one so I deleted it. I also said while it might have been a joke it was unnecessary. If you don't like being called out on perhaps think about the tone of some of your posts in future otherwise this discussion is over.

I agree which is why I deleted his posts and asked him to refrain from any more, I don't know what else you want me to do? I however am also fed up of you accusing me of being unfair when in reality you're both as bad as each other. We are vastly off topic now (ironically Vibe's comment was on topic), any more comments relating to this will be deleted if you wish to discuss it further private message me or contact Jay the other mod if you feel I am being unfair, I'm happy to step down if member believe I can't remain unbiased. Keep it out of the forums.

I'm annoyed because you do f*** all about it. Vibe once again posted an unwarranted jibe at me and you delete and brush it off. Why bother being a mod if you can't just DM him/her and say not to do it or further action will be taken. How many times are you just going to delete his inappropriate post, how does that stop it on any way? You've become like a parent who says no to a child but they know you don't mean it any way so it won't stop them.

 

Why not just say to Vibe if he posts anything personal to me or unrelated to the Spice Girls deliberately to insult me he will be banned. I'll happily take the same warning because I don't post such things unless needlessly provoked like this latest jibe could have done had I risen to it.

Deleting the post, which in itself highlights that it was not deemed to be completely acceptable, is really the only course of action for artist forum mods to take. We don’t have the power or authority to imply that a ban could happen, let alone issue them! Our role is only to oversee the running of the forum & to try and make it run smoothly. Deleting potential “problem posts” is actually what all BuzzJack forum mods do - and often without any explanation.

 

If a member messages us to say they want a situation to be looked into, in that case we’d pass it onto global mods / admins for them to have a look & see what they think about it.

 

From my point of view Spiceboy took the appropriate action. He didn’t just leave it, he removed vibe’s post because he thought about how it would come across to you Sammy, while also taking into account that it was probably intended to be jokey, which vibe has confirmed. I agree that it was a jibe & I will say that I would very much advise that the pair of you don’t communicate with each other unless it’s completely civil & about the Spice Girls. You also have the option to block each other.

Thank you for a reasoned response and explanation of the process. I take issue with both mods painting this as 6 of one and half a dozen of another as again this all started from Vibe making an unprovoked jibe. I do my absolute best to only post about the Spice Girls not other posters.
