But the good outweighs that and it’s better to be a force for good driving change from the inside as a fully participating member than from the outside losing all the benefits of EU membership and that damage that would cause

I presume you mean the system of subsidising the food we eat (which means we get cheaper food and get it back in some form)? It's certainly a system that could be revised, and reviewed to make sure we are remaining self-sufficient in getting enough food to feed the population - the best way of blackmailing a country is to cut off the food supply it is dependant on. Within weeks people are rioting in the streets and revolution and chaos follow. Much better to make sure you can grow your own.....

CAP has serious flaws but farmers are all dependent on it. It’s why they were solidly remain voting. (Plus they exploit EE as a cheap Labour Force)

 

Fishing will be in for a huge shock when they found that their pet hates all continue post-Brexit, if they survive the economy tanking or the tariffs.
