She is one of the most talked about artists in Europe and has been recognized as one of the hottest International talents to hit the music scene in years. She has sold over 20 million albums and is truly loved by her fans. She is Anastacia.

After years of fighting for a record deal, she finally got her chance at the MTV show "The Cut", back in 1998. She came second, but that didn't really matter. Anastacia had impressed the judges, music producers and of course, the audience, so much that it wasn't hard for her to get a record deal any more.

She finally signed with Epic Records, and released her debut album called "Not That Kind" in 2000. She watched it explode throughout Europe and she became famous over night.

The follow-up album, "Freak Of Nature", released in the end of 2001, only built on her success.

Loyal fans have been by her side ever since her debut, and today, she has more fans than ever.

She was at the top of her career when she got the bad news in 2003. She had breast cancer. Fans were scared they'd never see her perform live again. Anastacia reassured the world that she was strong and that she was a fighter by nature. She was right, and in September 2003, she could happily let her fans know that she was okay, and was ready to record her new album, entitled "Anastacia".

It was released in March 2004, and she had succeeded. It went on to become the 6th biggest selling album of the year. It led to one of the singer's most busy and successful years yet, gaining even more fans and proving that nothing was going to get in her way.

Late 2004 she started her first tour, "Live At Last", in Europe and UK. It was a massive success and people wanted to see her over and over again.

After a year of touring, Anastacia eventually released a Greatest Hits album, which she titled "Pieces of a Dream". It contained her previous hits, amongst them "I'm Outta Love", "Paid My Dues", "One Day in Your Life" and "Left outside Alone". In addition, it had four new songs and one mega mix.

In August 2006, she released her new clothing line, and in November, her new perfume, "Resurrection".

Fans are eagerly awaiting her new album, which is expected to be released in late 2007 or early 2008.

You definitely haven't seen the last of the large-lunged singer, Anastacia.
