I have also discovered a Radio Edit [3:32 length] that has 13,720 streams, but it's not available to play i.e. it's not available on UK Spotify and possibly not in other countries.

 

The Radio Edit of 'It's Raining Men' is no longer available to stream in the UK, although it achieved 4 streams since the last update which suggests it must be available somewhere!

 

The album version of 'Scream If You Wanna Go Faster' has been removed from Spotify, and replaced with the single version. In my last update the album version had 428,584 streams and the single version had 17,706, but now the single version shows as having 674,363. I'm not sure whether the stream counts from both versions are now combined into the single version? I've decided to just to take into account the 428,584 figure as the last update and that it's increased by 245,779.

 

'Calling (Au Nom De L'Amour) has been streamed 36,254 (+8,055 since last update).

 

'Half of Me' is most likely only available to stream in Australia/New Zealand.

Whenever I next do an update I'll be interested to see if Out of Your Mind grows into more of a success on streaming / gets streamed more than NSAIG. It's a pity that it was absent from UK Spotify (and maybe other countries) for so long. Hopefully at some point it'll be included in a Throwback Thursday playlist and boost its stream count.

 

Also a shame that This Groove / Let Your Head Go aren't available (never available to download either as far as I'm aware). I wonder who has ownership of those songs these days?

I'm a bit irritated that there's been some sort of mistake made on Spotify - Say You'll Be There now shows up with the Japanese for "Single Mix" in its tag, and there's Japanese in the Forever album title too. Makes me not want to play them, given that they scrobble like that to Last.fm! D:

Spotify still haven't removed Japanese characters from Say You'll Be There / Forever. :( Seems like they won't any time soon, it's been like this for about 3 months lol.

 

Stop has moved up to third in their Popular Top 10 list. It's the second song in the "All Out 90s" play list so that must be helping it along.

with the upcoming reunion and the small possibility of new material/new release, do you think the girls would fare better in the streaming era? I know they did well on cherry picks of the Greatest Hits in 2007, but the downloads for Headlines were pretty disappointing compared to CDs. Do you think anything would be different this time around? I know Headlines broke records for YouTube, that would have been a huge help in the charts these days.
