Quite disturbing but yet very amazing show ! :o

I've already watched 6 episodes on saturday night ^_^

I thought this weeks was going to be a filler episode, but then when

Travis got killed and appeared beside his body along with the other ghosts

it turned a corner. That and Ben now

'seeing things as they are'

as Moira put it was good, hopefully he is REPULSED at his actions with her.

I think this episode set things up really well, we're finally getting somewhere and with the last scene & 4 episodes (and a half if the finale is 90 minutes) still to go, I assume it'll end with

the babies being born

or something like that. I liked the twist, had just assumed

Tate was the father of both

Love this show, watched about 7 in a row. Even the opening theme creeps me out, most unsettling title sequence ever. Some big developments in the latest episode.

 

 

Re. Violet there is a lot of people on forums who think (not a spoiler but will black it out in case people don't want to read it!)

the suicide attempt was actually successful and Violet is now also a ghost, based on the fact she hasn't left the house since. It's definitely possible I guess, Tate could have hid her body anywhere!

We did indeed! Loved this episode

Taissa said she totally called it with the whole not going to school thing and even though I expected it I thought it was so well done. Taissa is such a good actress, really felt for her as she found she couldn't leave and then when Tate eventually revealed the truth to her.

 

I love the relationship between her and Tate, they are such good actors.

 

 

Constance continues to be fabulous

love what she did to her cheating husband!

 

Also loved how everyone assumed Larry got his facial burns in the fire, but it was actually Tate too, prior to the massacre!

 

 

 

 

Only two episodes left, this and Once Upon a Time are my new TV obsessions so sad this is coming to an end, it's utterly demented but fabulous!

Evan Peters really is a revelation as Tate. He plays it so brilliantly, with a much needed subltlty which really adds to the role. Plus as I've mentioned a few times he's super hot.

 

Looking back on it now, the Violet thing is blatantly obvious. How I didn't think of it I have no idea.

 

Constance is truly amazing though, the head tilts, the voice, the attitude. She's such a bitch, but the most fabulous kind - restrained and just so perfectly cunty.

Finally caught up with the last two episodes! Have been without internet for 2 weeks so hadn't managed to read spoilers or anything and was SHOCKED at the whole Violet thing and it was superbly done! Everything. How they made us believe Violet was still human. The fact it happened a little while ago (didn't it happen around the Halloween episode?). Most of all, the acting from both Taissa and Evan and the chemistry them two have together. Perfect. Ryan Murphy really knows how to get it right. I get the feeling that as soon as Ben finds out that Violet is actually dead and finds out that they can't leave the house or whatever, they'll just pretend to carry on a normal life or whatever just so they can still be with her.

 

Episodes 11 & 12 are called

so I think we know what the final two episodes will be about. Do we know if it's been given the go ahead for another season? How successful has it been over in the US? Surely it's only a matter of time before Channel 4/E4 or Channel 5 pick it up or something?

Very successful! A second season of 13 episodes was ordered a while ago. It tends to get around a 1.6 Adult 18-49 rating on a weekly basis which I think makes it the 2nd most successful show on FX behind 'Sons of Anarchy', which wasn't as successful in it's first season and has actually grown, so this could follow suit and do even better next year perhaps.

I do wonder what they will do of the show next season. The more we learn about the characters and their past, the least enigmatic it gets and although I still love watching it, it's less confusing and enjoybale than it once was.

I don't want them to milk the characters for a whole new season, so maybe the most sensible choice would be to focus on an other home of the same kind with new characters?

 

Although I'm sure/I hope they'll find a brillant way to continue with the same characters.

BLIMEY. So much seemed to happen, I think my highlight was the finale scene with Tate & Violet. Set it up very well for next weeks 90 minute finale.

 

Glad to see it's got a couple of Golden Globe nods too, for Best Drama & for Jessica Lange as Supporting Actress.

She best get that! She's such a brilliant actress in this. She plays the ultimate bitch and has everything you want/need in a TV bitch. Hopefully it'll surprise and get the "Best drama" award too.

That's my reaction to that episode, for the most part I was AGOG. It's all so good, no idea where they'll go in the finale but it can only be good.

Violet will end up forgiving Tate in the end? I really hope she does, because I love them two together. Their chemistry is brilliant.

Ben having to be on his own, although not technically on his own, will be interesting to see. He'll break down! I do wonder whether he'll end up committing suicide or something. I guess Constance will battle with Vivien for the baby and I have a feeling they'll get rid of one of the main characters, for good. (Hopefully one of the gay couple or that doctor person as opposed to someone from the main cast. (i.e. Vivien, Ben, Violet, Tate, Moira, Hayden - Although I don't see where she could go after the final episode...)

i want Thursday to hurry up and come quick! I NEED this final episode in my life. :nocheer: Can't wait to buy the DVD.

I am so crazy for this series. Its a different and so amazing show that I cant miss.

At first I thought this show was horrible but alas I'm slowly becoming addicted :lol:
