Posted October 19, 20177 yr Sean who came 3rd on X Factor back on the 4th series of X Factor back in 2007 with his sister Sarah in Same Difference is now solo! He's already released 2 solo singles and has announced he will be releasing his 3rd single "Fire" on 2nd November: https://www.instagram.com/p/BabBx-eD1Tc/ His first single Turn Me On 18wHQWatNTI His second single Magic eAWNr26PSYs And looks like he's been working out
October 21, 20177 yr I enjoyed both of his singles more than I thought I would, but I don't like his "sex sells" attitude, because he is no sex symbol at all.
July 20, 20205 yr Sean Smith's debut album "Solo" has finally been released. I'm not happy that the original version of his "Verona" duet is not included. He covered The Killers' "Human", it's not good, but still one of Solo highlights.

It's released by Energise Records, a lower tier dance label best known for gems like like this: https://static.wixstatic.com/media/03e57c_7...00_1400_s_2.jpg In all honesty, I'm sort of surprised they seemingly funded a bunch of videos for him. July 21, 20204 yr It's released by Energise Records, a lower tier dance label I've always wondered how this label even exists. They have signed artists like Hazell Dean, Sonia, Sinitta and Nicki French, but none of their new stuff makes it to any official (genre, indie, digital) charts. They release some singles on CD, but none has entered physical top 100 which shouldn't be so hard nowadays.

I'd just assume that they print very limited amount of copies and sell them worldwide instead of just focusing on the UK. The rest of the tiny profit they make is from accumilating random downloads / streaming over the years. I also doubt any of these artists have "proper" record deals as such. I imagine most of them have some sort of second income or have saved up enough from their past careers to live comfortably.

Those artists are all big on the pride circuit so I guess they/the label make money from that. I used to be involved in organising a Pride but it couldn't afford any actual famous singers (even the tier of the artists mentioned above lol) as it was one of the smaller ones. I will check out this album, I saw Sean live last year and he was fab, and pretty good looking in person too. I feel like his Same Difference days have stayed with him though as the way he was on stage was a bit like he was performing to children at times lol like saying "clap your hands"
