I doubt any album would ever make a ripple. Single on the other-hand would fare similarly to WAYWF me thinks.

No it wouldn't. A single at this point would probably miss the top 100 or scrape in at about #90.

Think you’re being too critical - their solo ventures have ended up there but doesn’t mean the group will fare same.

The Saturdays 'never discuss reuniting'

The Saturdays never discuss getting back together when they see one another.

The 'Issues' hitmakers have been on indefinite hiatus since 2014 and Una Healy has admitted the decision on when to end their self-imposed break has become a "taboo" subject between herself, Rochelle Humes, Frankie Bridge, Vanessa White and Mollie King because they're all so busy with other things.

She said: "I hope there will be [a reunion].

"I'd certainly like to be part of it and hope it would be all five of us.

"I don't know how the others feel because we never bring it up.

"We chat about everything else, but it's a bit of a taboo subject for us because it's not on the cards.

"Everyone is busy doing something else and It requires commitment from everyone and I don't think everyone is ready for that just yet."

But the 36-year-old singer - who has children Aoife, six, and Tadhg, three, with husband Ben Foden - doesn't get to see the rest of the band very often these days.

Una explained that because she doesn't live near to any of the other girls, it's become increasingly difficult for them to get together.

She said to New! magazine: "I'm living in Northampton and I haven't seen them in a while now. But when we do see each other, it's like we've never been apart."

The 'Never See Me Cry' singer also insists she doesn't feel pressure to do better than her bandmates in her solo efforts and there's no competitiveness between them.

Asked if she feels under pressure to be most successful, Una said: "Absolutely not! People almost put you under pressure when they ask that.

"[Are we in competition?] No, we're five individuals who support each other."

I think Joe is absolutely right, I cannot see how a Saturdays single in this day and age would do anything else.

I suppose it's good that they've finally confirmed what we've all known for years now.

With album sales as they are I think they could get a top 10 there.

See whereas I'm somewhere between these two posts - I don't think they'd ever release an album which would do that well but singles with digital downloads/physicals, I don't see why they wouldn't go top 100, even a low top 100.

Damn, I got so excited when I saw this thread, then I opened it up and was disappointed :(

Mollie King as a solo act managed to sell 6k-ish so I'm sure The Sats could do the same, and they could get a top 75 single with ACR/150:1 chart ratio!! With you needing barely 4k to get into the top 10 considering they still have a loyal fanbase they'd probably safely do that (then plummet the next week), maybe slightly more as the focus would be on the album I think.

I doubt they'll ever release an album again though so it's a bit of a moot point :kink:

Suppose it's only confirming what was fairly obvious for quite a while. I'm just amazed it's already coming up to 4 years since their last single! That time has flown by! :drama:

It would be nice if they at least got together at some point in the summer for a meet up / Instagram photo, to mark 10 years since they first released music.

(I guess this topic title should be edited to something less hopeful sounding :kink:  )

I want them to come back so bad. Of course Rochelle and Vanessa weren't present.

This time Vanessa is absent! The girls look fab tonight!!!!
I read a new Mollie article the other day. Can’t find it now but she basically said a reunion isn’t happening in the next few years. Maybe they will reunite for the 10th anniversary of What About Us going to number 1?
while rochelle is making waves on tv you can rule her out of anything saturdays related. she’ll never do it.

Let us be real, Mollie is bossing the solo game more between her and Rochelle. Totes the dark horse of the group.
