They are also both sung in other language than English so that brings variation and might help Monsters

I'm so nervous because the Semi 1 is so much better than Semi 2 and even a possible top 15 finisher in the final might be DNQ'd

She's coming on after a straight run of slow paced tracks, which will help. I also wonder if there's an ad break before her, even better. To be honest, I thought she'd be closing this semi.
So according to Saara this is getting its 'official' UK release next week! Hopefully the likes of Capital and Heart jump on it since it is her first single since XF
66/1 now - I put £10 on at 10/1, how has this collapsed so much? Must be worth another bet but each way.
Monsters is, I think, perhaps the most difficult song this year to predict. It could as easily come 4th as it could come 14th in the semi. My gut, sadly, suggests the latter is more likely. But I adore it regardless and it's my firm fave of 2018.
Your gut thinks this is crashing out 14th in the semi? I think anyone who thinks that is just paranoid tbh. It’s not happening. Please quote me and poke fun at me ETERNALLY if it happens but I’m that confident.

My prediction is partially based on emotional preparation, incase this happens. Am I paranoid? A bit, yes.

This is fantastic, and she is nailing it in Norwegian, Danish and Swedish as I can tell.

knowing all of it by heart tho. fab
The thing I adore about Saara and always have is you can tell she is genuinely in it for the music and sharing it with as many people as possible, which really is what Eurovision should be at its heart. She's got such a fire and genuine passion in everything she does, it's such a lovely little touch to learn all the lines in different languages like this.

Absolutely; I think that's one reason "Monsters" stands out for me above all of the other upbeat female led pop songs this year. I think she adds an extra layer to it - kind of that emotion, even to a song that Salvador would describe as 'fast food'.
