Oops! I totally forgot. I am so far behind tonight. I was washing my hair. Then I lay down and fell asleep.

I'll go for a cuppa then start my review. ^_^

Well although their have been rumour that Bongo Bong will be the 3rd single, I really don't see it happening.

Britpop's baddest bad boys go green with latest videos

THEY may be some of the most quintessentially English pop stars around but that has not stopped Robbie Williams and Oasis turning to Dublin for inspired ideas for their latest albums.

The musical giants have hired Irish production companies to come up with imaginative videos for their newest releases.

Production company Venom's offering to accompany Williams' track 'Bongo Bong,' scheduled as the third single release from 'Rudebox,' features actors in a southside Dublin cul de sac.

Meanwhile, Oscar-nominated Dublin animation company Brown Bag's creation for the Gallagher brothers, is completely animated and includes a cartoon of Liam Gallagher playing a tambourine.

The video sees Oasis transported into a stunning world based entirely on the paintings of the famous Manchester artist LS Lowry. It was created for Oasis' re-released single 'Masterplan'.

Venom's video is one of seven short films commissioned by Williams' to accompany tracks on his latest album.

Filmmaker Ken Wardrop and his business partner Andrew Freedman were given the green light by Williams because of their previous work, including the award-winning short 'Undressing My Mother'.

The result was their video for 'Bongo Bong', the premise of which is a valley of squinting windows, inspired by a south Dublin cul-de-sac.

Ranelagh native Freedman said the pair were thrilled with the pop star's commission.

"Working for Robbie has been a great opportunity," he said. He has been very supportive, and approved our treatment of the track, which is basically a mockumentary about a man who lives on a cul de sac, and everyone's views of that person. "It's going to be available in a mixed format - on DVD, online and on Channel 4." Meanwhile, Brown Bag Films has just released its Oasis video after the badboy rockers requested they turn them into cartoon characters.

Brown Bag, which is famous for its cartoon 'Give Up Yer Aul Sins', has come up with a video for a single that was originally released as a B-side on 'Wonderwall'.

Unusually, 'Masterplan' is sung by Noel rather than Liam Gallagher - although Liam was not one to be left out.

"One of the requests we got from Liam was that he be sitting at a side stage playing a tambourine," said Brown Bag producer Jackie Leonard. it."

Cathal Gaffney and Darragh O'Connell's video, which has up to 450 characters, lasts just over five minutes.

It is the first release from the band's new greatest hits collection 'Stop All The Clocks'.

I'm not a big fan of Bongo Bong personally :( She's Madonna would be the best choice imo

Em, I said my bit in the news thread.

To summarise what I think about Bongo Bong as the next single: :puke2:  :arrr:

This has got to be some sick joke right? :puke2:

Why on earth would he release ANOTHER cover  He makes out he is so proud of this album s why the hell is he releasing this novelty cover :puke2: Does he actually want to be seen as a joke of the music industry

Like Monsoon said, it's like they don't want the album to do well and think he can't write material of his own which is worthy of being a single which is not true at all

Is there anything we can do about this? Like emailing to EMI or the official site and tell them what we think of Bongo Bong as a 3rd single ?

Even if it won't be heard, right now I just feel like telling them, because I'm very frustrated and also seriously worried. Like Scotty said I dont want him to look like a complete joke and to ruin his career and I honestly think this single could do just that, I'm not kidding here.

"She's Madonna" would be my choice for third single, but "Bongo Bong" is a nice choice too, I really like it as well.

I totlly agree with you...

Bongo Bong the third single  Perhaps it's just a wind up

so many better songs on the album to choose from :(

:o Don't say that. I suggested '1974' for the album title remember. He doesn't listen to my advice.
