November 21, 20177 yr Author 36. Get Me Bodied Average - 6.15 Lovers - 10 (Davidson) Haters - 3 (Nick F1 & blacksquare) RioOJ7dZxuw This is easily the Beyonce single that I listen to the least/never. It's catchy enough and I won't skip it if it comes on shuffle but she has way better party tunes and this is rather easily to overlook in her impressive discography. Would be much lower in my own countdown tbh but I don't hate it at all. 35. Run the World (Girls) Average - 6.61 Lovers - 10 (Sean, Cremey & Riser) Haters - 0 (mr aly) // 2 (Euphorique and Mack) VBmMU_iwe6U We have quite a jump in average points here as feminist anthem 'Run the World' makes it to #35. I remember being obsessed with this when it first dropped because I was so hungry for more Beyonce after falling in love with her in the I Am...Sasha Fierce era but it quickly wore off and nowadays I find it pretty annoying. Saying that, it's probably one of her most well remembered/lasting songs in the general public's memory so I'm a little shocked it's this low here :o
November 21, 20177 yr 7/11 is a f***ing banger and I won't hear any different Buzzjack has always had a bit of an avertion to that song, oddly. It’s very popular otherwise.
November 22, 20177 yr Shocked to see "Me, Myself and I" so low! :o I know it's not that well-remembered especially in comparison to the other singles from 'Dangerously in Love' but I think it's a really beautiful song. "Lift Off" is really really good, it's a shame that it never had a huge worldwide push as Jay-Z and Kanye were huge back in 2011/12 (not that they aren't still). "Run the World" is definitely one of Bey's classics, although I'm actually quite surprised that that and "Love on Top" are the two most well-remembered from '4' amongst the GP.
November 23, 20177 yr 34. Check On It Average - 6.63 (No 11's) Lovers - 10 (josh and jonjo) Haters - 2 (Aly & cameron) Q1dUDzBdnmI Taken from B'Day and Destiny's Child greatest hits compilation '#1's'. 'Check On It' is the solo single that was released by Beyonce from the album. It was supposedly meant to appear on the soundtrack for the movie Pink Panther in which she starred in. However, this was scrapped and placed on #1's instead with Slim Thugs in the collab. The Single Version also features Bun B. It was also placed as a bonus track on B'Day due to its success, as it reached #1 in the US and New Zealand. As well as #3 in the UK. Personally, as I said when it was Track Of The Week 'I am going to hold my hand up and say this isn't a Bey faves. I mean her parts are quite good and boppy. However, I am not a fan of the feature really. I think it could have worked without it and instead had some killer middle 8 before the final chorus. The video for Check On It is pretty forgettable too I do not remember it well as I once thought. Oops." Sorry to re-use old commentary but it sums up my feelings completely. 33. Put It In A Love Song (Alicia Keys featuring Beyoncé) Average - 6.63 (1 11) Lovers - 11 (Sean) // 10 (Jonjo) Haters - 0 (nick f1) // 3 (george.keh and blacksquare) 8afv17Ff0_8 Winning the tie between 33 and 34 is fellow RNB singer Alicia Keys's collab with Bey tilted 'Put It In A Love Song'. The song was taken from Alicia's album 'The Element of Freedom' which resulted in multiple singles one of which was this song. It only reached 18 in AUS, 3 in South Korea and 28 in Ireland. In fact, it was actually given a limited single push in the US due to them changing their mind and making Unthinkable (I'm Ready) as the single there. My own score was 6 which is about right for how I feel about the song. It is alright I can see the appeal but I just find it to be alright, defo not her best collab effort. Which is still to come at some point.
November 24, 20177 yr WHY "Put it in a Love Song" wasn't pushed as a single in the UK, especially after the singles success that Alicia had from that album, I don't know! It's such a bop though and deserves a much higher score than that :(
November 28, 20177 yr Aww I really like Check On It although the video was rather poor from what I recall. Put It In A Love Song, however, was a lousy collab, especially when on paper a song with Alicia and Beyonce should've smashed effortlessly!
November 28, 20177 yr The Alicia Beyonce team up should have performed like Telephone, such a bop! More results coming from me tonight!
December 2, 20177 yr 32. Why Don't You Love Me? Average - 6.72 QczgvUDskk0 Up next we have Why Don't You Love Me. Pleasant enough, it does pale in comparison to some of the other tracks and I am outraged it has finished above the Alicia Keys feature :( the video feels very vintage with some of the filters and looks too overly homemade for my liking
December 2, 20177 yr "Why Don't You Love Me?" is a huge tune but feels very out of place on 'I Am... Sasha Fierce'. I don't think I actually heard it until the video was released which is so camp and sassy *.* It is a shame that they didn't give it a proper push but the era was so huge for her anyway, I can't complain.
December 2, 20177 yr WDYLM is one of her best! Criminally low. I appreciate when she does something different like that instead of her usual generic R&B (well, from around that time anyway).
December 4, 20177 yr Author 31. '03 Bonnie & Clyde Average - 6.80 Lovers (10 - Lew & Mack) Haters (1 - George.keh // 3 - mr aly and Cameron) 8iXf9mSODqU '03 Bonnie & Clyde was the very first of twelve times we saw Jay Z and Bey collab on a track and is still one of their most fondly remembered duets together. I don't hear it that often at all nowadays but it's always a fun track to bring out at noughties themed parties even if they surpassed it with the likes of "Drunk In Love", "Crazy in Love" and "Deja Vu" which were all still to come. 30. Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) Average - 6.93 Lovers (10 - Josh, Sean, Chapman, Jay, liamk97, Mack) Haters (-1 - Nick F1 & mr aly) 4m1EFMoRFvY Perhaps Beyonce's MOST iconic hit of her career to date crashes out shockingly in 30th place :o Buzzjack seems to have a few people who despise this utter anthem for some reason which has unfortunately dragged its average down severely. I absolutely adore this and it never fails to fill up the dance floor at parties, a future classic for sure.
