November 30, 20177 yr I quite like this. Different but great although he needs to get rid of the unnecessary swearing.
November 30, 20177 yr Author It doesn't sound anything like a hit and it feels like something that'll get panned on here but I can't take it off repeat
November 30, 20177 yr Okay from the live version I got a sneak peek of it's much better than his past two songs, which I obviously hated so there's not really much of a bar to surpass :P It's hard to tell cause Louis was credited first in the UK and I'd be very surprised if it was left off Louis' album! There's not really any evidence either way yet I guess.1.) This isn't the first time the UK has credited British artists different from the rest of the world ("Never Forget You" springs to mind) 2.) It also explains the release of "All Night" as one connected to JHO rather than an isolated release. it will probably be included as a bonus track anyway
December 1, 20177 yr His worst single by a mile. His accent is so annoying too, this is going to bomb!
December 1, 20177 yr I'm really enjoying it, puts me in mind of a Busted or McFly song which is a big positive as far as I'm concerned.
December 1, 20177 yr This reminds me of a weird mix of a male Lucy Spraggan on the verses and 5SOS on chorus?! I think I like it but it's nowhere near as polished or replayable as "Back to You" :(
December 1, 20177 yr oh wow this is rather good isn't it  I could see this doing very well with the right promo and airplay.
December 1, 20177 yr Well... Louis made a good song for once. I’d say this is more The Vamps than 5SOS though, no?
December 1, 20177 yr It's straight out pop, definitely very MM era/Vamps - I think it's a grower, it's quite anthemic and pretty catchy. Can't understand if he is trying to be overly Yorkshire on purpose though?
December 3, 20177 yr Struggling to figure him out as an artist. Just Hold On, Back To You & Miss You are all very different. Niall, Liam, Harry and somewhat Zayn all have their own paths and know exactly what they’re doing. Louis just seems to be throwing anything out there and hope it sells.
December 3, 20177 yr Pretty terrible performance and I really WANT to like Louis, but he's just not very good. The song itself is potentially a grower because it sounds quite anthemic, but his voice is just so weak. Edited December 3, 20177 yr by Slick
December 3, 20177 yr Yeah that performance was embarrassing  Absolutely awful. The song isn't terrible but it's just not for me, it is very McFly/Bsted 2003 B-Side. I'll stick with Back To You tbh
December 3, 20177 yr Author I really couldn't disagree more on the topic of the performance, it felt well suited to the song and showed off how anthemic the chorus is brilliantly imo! Not remotely embarrassing.
December 4, 20177 yr 'It's all out of tune' i laughed :w00t: It's a pretty terrible song. The problem is he can't sing very well. He is lucky he got into 1D. The performance did make me like the chorus abit more i'll say that much. But that performance for a final is ridiculous, what was Cowell thinking?
December 4, 20177 yr The chorus was mildy catchy. Like others have said, i cant figure out the direction Louis is going in. His 3 singles are all do different that its hard to see what kind of album he will release. This is by far his weakest single. Dance orientated music similar to Just Hold On would be the best suitable root for him.
December 8, 20177 yr Author Debuts at #39! Better than I was expecting in the end, and it just about avoids becoming the first pre-album 1D single to miss the top 40.
