#94: Henry Fong ft. Stylo G & Nyla - Young Hearts

Peak: 06 / Month of Peak: August 2017

Henry Fong's Chart History:

2017 06 Young Hearts (Henry Fong ft. Stylo G & Nyla)

Stylo G's Chart History:

2016 09 Bring It Back (Friction ft. Stylo G)

2016 20 Bike Engine (Jacob Plant & Stylo G)

2017 06 Young Hearts (Henry Fong ft. Stylo G & Nyla)

2017 59 Won't Forget You (Pixie Lott ft. Stylo G)

Nyla's Chart History:

2016 03 Light it Up (Major Lazer ft. Fuse ODG & Nyla)

2017 06 Young Hearts (Henry Fong ft. Stylo G & Nyla)

I think it was Jupiter who first suggested I listen to this track. Since I love Stylo G and I'd enjoyed Nyla on Light It Up, I had to give this a listen. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. With a great beat, great vocals on the chorus and great rapping from Stylo, this song has it all and should really have peaked higher that #6. Although what tops it off is the amazing lyric 'so right now just get rid of Simon'. Anyone? :P

#93: Shaggy ft. OMI - Seasons

Peak: 04 / Month of Peak: June 2017

Shaggy's Chart History:

2016 09 Don’t You Need Somebody (RedOne ft. Enrique Iglesias, R. City, Serayah & Shaggy)

2017 04 Seasons (Shaggy ft. OMI)

OMI's Chart History:

2016 12 Drop In the Ocean (OMI ft. AronChupa)

2017 04 Seasons (Shaggy ft. OMI)

My eyes were glued to this as soon as I saw it on the release schedule. Two artists I loved the sound of could only make a great song together, right? Well I then went on a holiday and completely forgot about it. It was only when I saw it on Youtube that I remembered and was instantly attracted. An amazing Carribean sound over a tropical beat, such a song for the summer!

#92: The Beach - Bite My Tongue

Peak: 03 / Month of Peak: April 2017

The Beach's Chart History:

2017 03 Bite My Tongue

One of Joseph's amazing BJSC entries this year, I wasn't that keen on it at first but it grew on me so much so quickly over the contest! I can't really describe what it is about it, on the surface it's pretty generic but then you end up humming it and craving to hear it again. Since that song though, his Youtube channel is barren. Where are you? Come back!

YAAAY at Bite My Tongue!!! Glad you loved that so much!!

He released a new single U. R. Beautiful the other week but it's not as good :( I'd recommend his previous single, Geronimo, if you've not heard that yet!

#91: Galantis & Throttle - Tell Me You Love Me

Peak: 12 / Month of Peak: TBA

Galantis' Chart History

2016 03 No Money

2016 19 Make Me Feel (Galantis & East & Young)

2016 02 Love On Me (Galantis & Hook N Sling)

2016 23 Pillow Fight

2017 01 Rich Boy

2017 24 Hunter

2017 74 True Feeling

2017 49 Girls On Boys (Galantis & ROZES)

2017 12 Tell Me You Love Me (Galantis & Throttle)

2017 47 Hello

2017 53 Salvage (Up All Night) (Galantis & Poo Bear)

Throttle's Chart History:

2017 03 Found You (Make Me Yours)

2017 12 Tell Me You Love Me (Galantis & Throttle)

And we come to our first future hit! This was the track that immediately stuck out on the album, entering the Top 40 before it was even a single and immediately outperforming Galantis' two previous attempts at singles. (they must be one of the most featured artists on my charts? :P ) Hence, I was delighted when this was announced as a single, if not a little annoyed I'd already worn out the song on my Spotify when it was solely an album track. It merges the qualities of the two artists perfectly, producing exactly what you'd expect from a Galantis & Throttle collab, and I'd be surprised if this didn't eventually go Top 5 on my chart.

Young Hearts is so good, and managed number 1 on my chart

Really like Tell Me You Love Me too, but I think there's others I prefer from the album

I'll have to give them a listen! Thanks Joseph!

Nice to see "Tell Me You Love Me"!

There'll be a few more 'future hits' to come! Thanks Sergej!

#90: LVNDSCAPE ft. Kaptan - Walk Away

Peak: 05 / Month of Peak: May 2017

LVNDSCAPE's Chart History:

2016 01 Is This Love (Bob Marley ft. LVNDSCAPE & Bolier)

2017 05 Walk Away (LVNDSCAPE ft. Kaptan)

2017 01 In My Mind (LVNDSCAPE ft. Mi Manchi)

Kaptan's Chart History:

2017 05 Walk Away (LVNDSCAPE ft. Kaptan)

And now we come to the other LVNDSCAPE song! Thinking back, this deserved a #1 spot much more than In My Mind, but having being around the same time as Eurovision, realistically it wasn't possible (in fact, the week it was at #5 there were SIX eurovision songs in the Top 10 :o ) With amazing vocals and a really gorgeous melody that made me grow to love this track, I'm disappointed this didn't have any success officially!

#89: Mark Forster - Sowieso

Peak: 04 / Month of Peak: July 2017

Mark Forster's Chart History:

2017 04 Sowieso

Now we come to a really catchy tune from Germany! I hadn't heard much of this guy until this came out, but it hit me almost immediately and is still a favourite of mine now! It's clearly a popular track overseas as well with almost 20 million views on YouTube :o I've just given his newest single a listen but it doesn't sound half as good :(

#88: Ellie Holcomb - He Will

Peak: 05 / Month of Peak: November 2017

Ellie Holcomb's Chart History:

2017 19 Find You Here

2017 05 He Will

I'm realising the reason there's a lack of comments is probably because I'm posting a load of songs that none of you have heard of. Well, now it's time for... another song you probably haven't heard of! :P Oh well, I promise you'll all know #85. This is our first Christian offering to the Top 100, by American singer Ellie Holcomb. This grabbed me instantly, whilst not being the sort of amazing ear-wormy melody I like, it just seems like a feel-good happy song and she looks like she's having so much fun in the video!

(this exercise has also proved it's a lot trickier to spell 'Holcomb' than I previously thought)

#87: Oceans - Deep Blue

Peak: 01 / Month of Peak: October 2017

Oceans' Chart History:

2017 01 Cold Ain't For Me

2017 01 Deep Blue

So this was the follow-up to the amazing 'Cold Ain't For Me', which really hit me, especially since it was from an artist I'd never heard of before. This was a fairly good follow up, but was much more 'hits you instantly then get sick of it after a few weeks' type of track, leaving my chart after only six weeks. Cold Ain't For Me will always be the song I think of when I remember Oceans though.

#1 Ranking

#38. Oceans - Deep Blue

#39. LVNDSCAPE ft. Mi Manchi - In My Mind

#40. The Strumbellas - Young & Wild

Edited by Petelehem

Deep Blue is pretty great :music: but yeah totally agree that it gets old quite quick

YES! "Sowieso" is in your Year End Chart, so happy!

I did wonder whether it'd be something you'd like! Thanks Sergej!

#86: Kelsea Ballerini - High School

Peak: 03 / Month of Peak: October 2017

Kelsea Ballerini's Chart History:

2017 03 High School

I'd been a lurking fan of Kelsea's for a while, whilst the songs never grabbed me instantly (And therefore never made an impact on my chart) I'd find myself singing them now and then, especially 'Peter Pan'. When I saw this on the release schedule, I decided to give this a proper chance, and I really liked it! It entered my chart inside the Top 10 and climbed up to 3, before making a very swift exit as quite a lot of my longer-running Top 10s do. I should really give her album a listen

#85: Clean Bandit ft. Julia Michaels - I Miss You

Peak: 01 / Month of Peak: November 2017

Clean Bandit's Chart History:

2016 01 Rockabye (Clean Bandit ft. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie)

2017 29 Symphony (Clean Bandit ft. Zara Larsson)

2017 09 Disconnect (Clean Bandit ft. Marina & the Diamonds)

2017 01 I Miss You (Clean Bandit ft. Julia Michaels)

Julia Michaels' Chart History:

2016 07 Carry Me (Kygo ft. Julia Michaels)

2017 01 I Miss You (Clean Bandit ft. Julia Michaels)

Told you you'd all know #85! This is one of my more recent #1s, and I know a lot of people dismissed it instantly, so I put it high on my Personal Chart to show my support for the song as I much preferred it to Symphony. It grew on me even more and reached #1, however it went downhill very quickly after that. It's still an amazing song and deserving of a #1, but I crave the old Clean Bandit :(

#1 Ranking

#37. Clean Bandit ft. Julia Michaels - I Miss You

#38. Oceans - Deep Blue

#39. LVNDSCAPE ft. Mi Manchi - In My Mind

#40. The Strumbellas - Young & Wild

Wooo, a song I actually know :cheer:

"I Miss You" is really, really underrated. I get that it's not quite as instant as something like "Tears" or "Real Love" (my two personal Clean Bandit faves :heehee: ) but I loved the production on it as usual and the chorus ended up getting really stuck in my head. I'm glad it was an official top 10 in the end!! :cheer:

Loveee I Miss You  managed number 1 for me too and will appear at around the same position in my EOY as it has in yours!
I Miss You is brill, though I do expect better from Clean Bandit these days especially after the life changing Symphony.
