What are Rak-Su singing?

 

Haven't a clue, I just remember seeing about sharon confirming Grace will be doing 3 originals and 1 cover during the final so am guessing she will be doing two originals tomorrow unless somethings changed.

I hope Grace wins tomorrow, I preferred her Roots performance over Live and Let Die, I didn't really think Kevin's performances were good enough tonight, and Rak-Su tracks they all sound the same to me, but deep down I think Rak-Su seem to be the likely winners.

Ah shame Kevin left but it was to be expected. I agree his solo version of Fastlove was incredible & definitely one of my faves this year but I liked the Tokio collab too. Whole Lotta Love was just the token final opener song.

 

Liked both of Grace's performances too, not all that keen on Roots as a song but it worked well as a perf.

 

As for Rak-Su I'm not fussed on Mamacita but Dimelo is actually an absolute tune, so glad that will be THE X-Factor winner's single of 2017!

Interesting show, wasn't expecting the duets being the winner's singles twist!

 

I would've preferred a solo version of Roots but I think what happened tonight would've got Grace more votes than if she'd done it solo, the tears moment at the end was a massive vote winner I'd imagine. I thought Live and Let Die worked really well actually, allowed Grace to show the strength of her voice (she's more Diana than she is Janet/Abi Alton etc in terms of quirky singers) and meant Simon could get in the strong singer comment. That could mean the Kevin votes will transfer to Grace for the strong singer reason.

 

I could still see Grace snatching it, all depends on the song choices. If we get reprises of Too Young and Hesitate/Wolves for example versus Rak-Su reprises of Mona Lisa/I'm Feeling You then I think the former will appeal to that final-watching audience. It's definitely closer than the odds would suggest anyway.

Yeah that's true, they've done their crowd pleasers although they all sound the same anyway so nobody will know the difference lmao

Well I guess the TWO most successful acts ever from X Faccy have been groups.

Grace's duet with Paloma was insanely good literal chills from it :wub: I want her to win now.

 

Rak-Su *sigh* I wanna like them but I find it a bit eh they performed two originals that we know already. At least with Grace we have only heard Roots in the Audition and that's it.

 

Kevin was disappointing imo.

It's not really unfair disadvantage tho its not like Naughty Boy did anything in the same way Wyclef Jean did :lol: He just played the Piano.

They got two acts and then a BUNCH of random Justin Beiber dancers on stage - PLUS I honestly think their harmonies were touched up - either a backing track, digital trickery, or back up singer reliance.

 

It is obviously veery clearly manipulated for them.

I don't get the amount of dancers Ill agree there but apart from that they didn't sound much different imo.
