December 12, 20178 yr I'm here for it tbh. It's only 2/3 weeks. I feel like it gets everyone in the festive mood  And I'm pleased the likes of Ariana and Leona are starting to get up there with the classics with their own original hits. Hopefully Kelly can re enter the top 40 at some point this year! It'll also be interesting to see how various songs hold up in the annals of xmas classics as we see some do drop down as the years go by!
December 12, 20178 yr It has been played on Radio 1 at least a few times in recent years. This. I've heard radio 1 playing Bing/Perry Como/Andy Williams/Frank Sinatra/Eartha Kitt deeper into December in previous years. Although a lot may now be replaced by Buble versions since 2011!
December 12, 20178 yr Could I have the latest midweek chart position for 'Christmas' by Elvis and the RPO album please. Many Thanks. Brian
December 12, 20178 yr :lol:at it being busier here than the iTunes thread has this happened before Good to see Mariah at 2 could it have been her week if the remix of perfect didn’t exist
December 12, 20178 yr Had hoped Leona Lewis would have moved up the chart today and not dropped :arrr: The reverse, wonderful to see Mariah up to number 2 and Band Aid number 12, i would greatly welcome Band Aid returning to the Top 10. Elton John is showing signs to finally get the song into the top 20. Ed Sheeran looks very set to return to the top and i remain impressed with Pink and Paloma Faiths performances this week. Does anyone know what position Kylie Minogue's Santa Baby is in today's update?
December 12, 20178 yr I hope NF is at #11 and I hope he goes top 10 He'd be in the update if he were at #11. He's a non-mover at #13.
December 12, 20178 yr He'd be in the update if he were at #11. He's a non-mover at #13. Seeing as he’s at #8 on Spotify (#4 without Xmas songs) and #10 on iTunes, I was expecting him to climb a bit and to go official top 10 on Friday Edited December 12, 20178 yr by Hadji
December 13, 20178 yr Seeing as he’s at #8 on Spotify (#4 without Xmas songs) and #10 on iTunes, I was expecting him to climb a bit and to go official top 10 on Friday I think he'll creep into the Top 10 Friday, Let You Down is climbing in sales & streams so even if he's not Top 10 this week he should get it next week depending on xmas song performances. Future Top 5 hit after xmas though for sure, hopefully Top 3
December 13, 20178 yr really hope that Let you Down song doesn't go further, shows shows how you can buy yourself a hit in the charts these days ;/ should be renamed the Payola song, the label pays spotify a lot of € and spotify puts an unknown song no one knows in all key palylists and even #1 on hot hits, I wouldn't be surprised if spotify commissioned the song ;)

December 13, 20178 yr On the other hand, it's not like it's doing NOTHING on sales, so not all of the 100% of its success comes from the payola.
