What songs are going to be big and who will dominate Q1?

Some songs I think will climb a lot higher/break

• Craig David ft. Bastille - I Know You

• NF - Let You Down (not sure if this has peaked or not tbh)

• RAYE - Decline

• Camila Cabello - Never Be The Same

• Lily Allen & Giggs - Trigger Bang (depending on radio support)

There’s rumours of Ellie Goulding releasing but ofc she won’t dominate.

What do you think??

Camila should be big, very radio friendly but different at the same time. Lily will flop, not even music.
that Barking song too

Oh and Jax Jones - Breathe too

Less sure about Portugal

Looks like R1 will support it in Jan

But might be too late

Feel It Still will hopefully get a new peak it deserves, I doubt Top 10 or anything by this point but more than #39 would be lovely

I suspect Afrobeat-influenced UK rap will continue to have its moment in the sun through the first half of next year. 'Barking' looks like being a huge chart hit and songs from Steel Banglez and Not3s should also do well. I expect Yxng Bane will come with a chart hit at some point next year. I do think it will reach oversaturation point by the summer though.

Some more from me to look out for:

ASAP Ferg - Plain Jane

CLiQ - Wavey

Not3s ft. Shakka & Tinie Tempah - No Drama

I actually think the new Lily song is very catchy and if given radio support people will support it. Waaayyyy better than Air Balloon and more radio friendly than Hard Out Here (which didn’t have a good radio edit here at the time), so hopefully will do well for her.

Barking could easily be a top 3 hit. Can't see Lily's song doing much tbh, it's so bland.
Eminem ft Ed Sheeran - River to smash

yeah, for the next 15 weeks at #1 going into 2018  It wouldn't surprise me actually, with the BRITS in Feb.

Really hope Lily does well, such a good song.

Same, but I also hope the album is as of high quality.

You like Let You Down x

Skepta's verse on Trigger Bang nearly made me fall asleep xo

Ed & Eminem are probably high contenders for Brit nominations too (international act for Em & almost anything else for Ed) so I can see a live performance of River if it’s still charting well by then.

Pink's Beautiful Trauma will go top 10 at least once the Christmas songs are out of the way

Agreed, the last era started so well with Hard Out Here but the album was a let down.
