Ballad time! 'Secret Love Song' takes the next hit, falling just short of making our top 5! 'Secret Love Song' is one of Little Mix's biggest hits and one of the all time highest selling girl group ballads (sorry, My Heart Takes Over). This means your top 5 consists of the two remaining platinum singles; Touch and Power. Previous 3 Little Mix rate winner; Move, fan favourite Salute, and Love Me Like You has also climbed in from last year. Which'll be first out?

I mean don't get me wrong I do really enjoy the track and it does have some quirkiness to it, but the drop itself feels very dated, from 2013 rather than 2017.

I mean, I would totally get the criticism if someone were to say ‘Power’ is more annoying or more jarring than NMSS, but I genuinely can’t see how it’s more basic.

SLS is stunning but Jasons autotune is awful. Still is my 2nd fav Little Mix song though

'Love Me Like You' in the top 5 though *.*

But I still absolutely adore SLS. The version I listen to depends on my mood. But both versions give me certain feels.

LMLY to not crash out at #5, please. It's so good.
I like SLS but I as never a huge fan, probably because of Jason's part, but I guess getting a big collab was good (But then even Pixie managed Jason... then didn't release the track as a single).

Yeah I’d like to see them have more ‘harder to get’ collabs in furture. Even Nicki feels a bit easy to get. I’d love to see them get Cardi on the next album. I think Stormzy is the best collab they’ve gotten so far. He hasn’t done any other pop collabs really, and he’s huge in the Uk. He helped Power’s hype so much, it’s a shame they couldn’t get someone better than Machine Gun Nobody For NMSS, even if I don’t mind his rap.

Still waiting for the rumoured Touch ft. Ariana Grande to leak. ;)

05 8.59 'Salute’

So the first song to kick off the top 5 is the incredible 'Salute'. I know I say this every time, but please girls, even if you're on your 60th top 10 single and it's your 20th tour, never cut this song from the setlist. The Glory Days tour only further proved what a ferocious song it is when they perform it. Let's not forget this song stopped the Salute era from looking kinda...floppy, too. I pray this can get a Gold certification the next year!

I'm surprised SLS is as high as it is -- it always felt somewhat underrated around here. I always forget how epic it is until I actually hear it, but I do agree with those saying that Jason's input ruins the song's sentiment. Pt 2 combined with the original's production would be perfect for me.

'Salute' is fantastic and wholly deserving of top 5; I actually regret not giving it a 10 now! That BGT performance still ranks among their best performances.

My personal preference for the final 4 would be: Touch > Power > LMLY > Move, but all four are career highlights and would all be deserving winners.

(I'm actually shocked that 'Power' made it this far, it always seemed pretty polarising around here. I'm ecstatic though, it's really become one of their signature songs).

Anyone else get the feeling that Jason only featured on SLS due to how successful their cover of 'Want To Want Me' in the live lounge was? I have a feeling his label probably reached out at that point and said he wanted to collab with them.

I swear there was even a tracklist leaked at some point which then got edited to include "feat. Jason Derulo" on it. But maybe I'm making that up haha.

But what an anthem 'Salute' is. It gets me.. EVERY TIME. As Joe said, it cannot be cut from their setlist as it goes off every single time live, too. It was always the hughlight from that album and it really worried me that it was never gonna see the light of day when it was announced that 'Word Up' would be the single after 'Little Me', which was worrying considering that LM missed the top 10!

I feel like you're right and that I've heard this somewhere before too, it could be possible that Part II was the original version even, with slightly different instrumentation.

Well well well. The last three Little Mix rates' champion, 'Move' is...no longer the champion. But it doesn't just get pushed down by one new song, but by two as well as 'Love Me Like You' which it's previously beaten in every rate it had the chance to do so with. I do feel as though as time goes on, in terms of overall GP iconicness (not a word, but go with it), and as Little Mix move from smash to smash, 'Move' is getting a bit forgotten. It wasn't even included on their Ariana or Summer Shout Out setlists. I feel like the only two singles pre-Black Magic/imperial phase that are continuously referenced and properly remembered are 'Wings' and 'Salute'. Which is a shame because 'Move' is that song. That daring R&B infused bop with that music video they've found it difficult to better even with much higher profits.

I love 'Move', but I always forget just HOW much I love it until I've listened to it, which is kind of a problem as I never wanna actively go out of my way to listen to it.

But what a bop.

'Love Me Like You' defying all odds though and going top 3!!
