Episode 1 of Bodyguard has a 28-day data rating of 14.42m, an increase of 4.02m from the 7-day rating. :o *.* That's the highest 7-day to 28 day increase I can recall.

I'm gobsmacked!! Pretty sure that's the highest ever 7 to 28 day increase!

Also biggest ever timeshift from an overnight rating surely?! Without checking the exact figure, it must be close to an 8m (!) timeshift. Absolutely insane!

It's great that actual on demand viewing is being added to the ratings and the precise figures are interesting considering its data we've never really had before. Although I do question when an episode of Corrie has only 30 people watching on a smartphone!

It does really show that My5 is quite behind the other channels, their catch up figures for Big Brother/CBB is quite dreadful!

Is that a show you would catch up on though??

Not to the same extent as dramas but Love Island has a HUGE amount of catch-up views.

Obviously they’re unfortunately not in the same league but it shows there can be appetite for lots of people to still catch-up despite a new show being on every night

Could well be! I'll have a check when I'm home. I think Downton Abbey may have previously had the record.

Tuesday 25th September

BBC 1

21:00 Wanderlust - 1.4m (7.5%)

ITV (inc. +1)

20:00 The Martin Lewis Money Show: Live - 2.5m (12.1%)

21:15 Queen of The World - 3.2m (18.3%)

In regards to this, I think Downton Abbey could have held the record following its 2015 Christmas Special when it had an overnight of 6.5m and increased 4.72m to 11.12m after 28 days, but that has since been broken by Episode 2 of the Sherlock 2017 special which had an overnight of 5.99m and increased 5.16m to 11.15m. I've had a look at other ratings and found a lot of 4m jumps but nothing that topped Sherlock, so yeah, Bodyguard likely has the biggest overnight to 28-day jump with a 7.72m jump.

Fantastic for Doctor Who! I expected it to be in the 6m region so to have a rating reminiscent of the Tennant days is really impressive.

Still can’t get over 8.2m and I’m revelling in it before it takes a noticeable dip next week!! As Michael said, highest share since Series 1 too is absolutely incredible!

What other show can get an increase of 3.5m from it’s 10th/36th series opener to its 11th/37th series opener.

4.28m - Killing Eve (BBC 1) (6.84m inc. pre-transmission)

Wow, impressive iPlayer figures there!!
