Somebody make me play this after exams :lol: I'm gonna get a Steam controller so I can play stuff on my TV and get myself more motivated to delve back into Steam. I used to adore the Phoenix Wright series so I do want to go into more visual novel type games and this seems a v interesting one to do so in.

Just saw there was a Gaming and Technology subforum... exciting stuff! Played this a few months ago and it was a true experience. I absolutely loved it <3

I hope you are all playing this as blind as you are able to remain aware of, it is best experienced that way. Great to see people trying it out though.

 

I want to do the other routes that I didn't do first time and try and 'beat' the game now (there's a way if you do a specific set of saves and loads)

So this got very weird, very fast! The gameplay reminds me of Pony Island in bits. Took a bit of time to get going though (almost gave up!!! :lol:)

 

Gonna finish it this weekend and post my final thoughts.

So finally finished this! I didn't find it as horrifying as others thought, but it was slightly unsettling with the way

it messes around with the game files and the breaking of the fourth wall etc. (definitely like Pony Island in that respect).

 

 

I liked the fact that

Monika was fully aware of the fact that she was in a game, and even after being deleted by myself, was still able to completely end the game (I did think it was all being a bit too cutesy and lovey-dovey once the game restarted so was half expecting another twist :lol:). I didn't think Yuri would kill herself so suddenly though; I thought it was going to happen eventually with the way she was talking, but to do it mid-conversation in the classroom was shocking!!

 

 

I felt like Natsuki was under-used though

(I don't know if that's just because I didn't warm to her as a character straight away and therefore when given the options and poems I deliberately avoided choosing ones that would bring me closer)

. If I was to play again I would aim it at her to see what her story-arc was

(I know she had to be deleted by Monika to continue the plot but it just felt like if Natsuki wasn't there the plot would still work in the same way).

I don't know if I'll actually

re-install the game or just leave it as unplayable to appease Monika though.

Camden wants to play it but he didn't want me to spoil anything so he's going to go in blind as well. ^_^
