Syco are absolutely AWFUL.

 

She should have tried to leave them years ago.

 

I can guarantee it was them delaying her.

 

Maybe they don't like the album material.

I don’t know why anyone would sign with Syco these days, they just don’t understand how the music industry has changed and have had no clue how to manage any artists in recent years apart from Little Mix.

 

What more could Ella have done? She had a massive single, a platinum (?) selling album, and two decent selling features. If it’s because of the delay, the label have a massive part to play in that?? You don’t just wait for an artist to go around making songs for however long it will take unless the artist is Adele :lol:

 

I can’t get over how much they’ve messed uo Labrinth’s career too, from just doing... nothing :drama:

She had a huge #01 single and a decent selling album and this is how they treat her?! Nah, f*** that. Syco can burn in hell.

i think this is a really positive step, she can now get a label that will actually want to help her. syco is honestly the worst label.

Stupid that they have strung her along and then dropped her. I'm sure you'll get signed by another label very soon. 'Ghost' was huge and still is.

Such a shame. Her debut album has to be one of the best debut albums of all time.

This is worse for Syco than Ella..

2 Brit award nominations, one of the biggest #1 songs of the year with Ghost which sold over a million in the US and a platinum selling album and they don’t know what to do with her?

It really seems like they cannot concentrate on more than one artist at a time. Shayne Ward, Leona, Alexandra, Cher Lloyd, Fleur East and now Ella all had success but were f*cked over..

What does the future hold for Louisa Johnson, Rak Su and Grace Davies?

I don't get what their barometer for success is, like Fleur had a huge hot and they stopped bothering then dropped her, does every artist have to be Little Mix or 1D or get dropped? :lol:

If Ella has been dropped then Louisa is likely on the chopping block next. God knows how Rak-Su managed to get a hit with Dimelo, with no studio version out for aageees after it's release and not really much promo either after XF. I doubt they'll easily get another hit though

According to Wikipedia Rebecca Ferguson is still signed to Syco?

Although it’s a joint uk deal with RCA so that must be why she hasn’t been dropped..

it always good that Ella leave Syco, now she is free to fly higher and grow bigger.

If artists had any sense they would leave Syco as soon as their contract is up (assuming they dont get dropped first)

but it makes no sense,

guess there's been some major disagreement in regards to album 2

but it's bizarre that the label kept paying her for 4 years and now they drop her withut seeing any benefit, very weird
