The "on air / on sale" release strategy does still exist and is typically followed by everyone, but the play on Radio 2 tomorrow is more of an exclusive. I doubt it'll be receiving plays throughout the day, just the once in the morning, maybe a second time later in the show too.

Driving back from the blue mountains to Sydney today and heard dancing being played on Australian radio so it’s started to get air play here!

Well according to the radio interview, the album won’t be out until April so I would expect a second single before then.

Reception to 'Dancing' seems to be largely positive on Twitter, although it's hard to tell who the stans are and who are more general fans, aside from when they have Kylie as their profile pic. Looking on the Radio 2 and Chris Evans Breakfast Show pages, there are a few more negative posts, but they seem quite troll-like rather than genuine criticisms. So there's bias on both sides.

I'm sure she'll be A-listed on Radio 2 at least

The country influence is so obvious that it wasn't just some vague country sound.

UK iTunes has just updated - 'Dancing' makes its debut at #44.

Just hearing it now on New Music Friday playlist and it is very fun but apart from the chorus it doesn't feel very instant on the whole. I think it could grow on me though as Into The Blue took a couple of listens and now that is my second favourite Kylie song now :wub:
