I think we're around the time the song was originally planned to be released so fingers crossed we hear news of promo soon. Would be a shame to see it off the Radio 2 playlist before promo, assuming that's what is keeping the song steady on iTunes.

Well lets see....

I cannot believe she is going to wait until her concerts to sing Dancing 'live' .......

I still think she will do a TV performance, release remixes, reduce the 99p price on iTunes and maybe sell the vinyl all in same week and grab a top 40 hit....

I imagine we will get a good promotional campaign soon. Blondie are with BMG now and they had the best promo they've had in years, more so than the last three albums combined, so I trust Kylie is in safe hands. It's just a shame they had to bring the single release forward, although they've done a good job so far under the circumstances.

Number 93 this so it's good to see it back in the top 100.

I have to say dancing is growing on me,I don't like the first part but from the first chorus onwards it's catchy.

Outselling Paloma who managed 95th in charts thenoutvthis week and has had Graham Norton publicity

Remix Track listing:

1. Anton Powers Remix

2. Initial Talk Remix

3. Anton Powers Radio Edit

Kylie Minogue has returned with stunning new single “Dancing.” The uplifting dance track, which appears on her forthcoming 14th studio album Golden, recently went Top 10 on iTunes in 15 countries and has amassed over 3 million Spotify streams. Now pulling ‘Dancing’ even more on to the dance floor are stella mixes from Anton Powers and Initial Talk.

Anton, who is best known for his #1 smash with Phillip George, ‘Alone No More’, and his massively popular Capital FM show, is no stranger to remixing superstars working his peak-time house sound on remixes for Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez, & Mariah Carey (as Cahill).

Rising Stars, Initial Talk, have had their retro flavoured reworks featured in music webzines such as Billboard, The Fader, Buzzfeed, and supported across the spectrum from MNEK to ‘Spinning Around’ co-writer, Paula Abdul, with their Dua Lipa ‘New Rules’ remix featuring in Radio 1’s New Music Friday Playlist. On ‘Dancing’ they have amped up their 80’s flava to max giving ‘Dancing’ an early Kylie feel.

When are these remixes out

I can't believe I in H and M the other day and heard New Rules and thought I love this remix. And now you have taught me it was Initial Talk as I thought it sounded very 80s

Honestly check out some of their remixes. I think they did one of Into You by Ariana Grande and it was so good. They are so 80s and so catchy!

Does each remix count as one steam in Spotify? Or will they all be combined? That should get her a few extra streams

On the sales chart she is 37th up from 55th 😍

The remixes have gone out to club DJs the weekend and I reckon they will be on iTunes for week of 16th Feb. Still trying to hear a snippet of them

'Dancing' sold just under 3.5k at #93, with its total sales (using the 100:1 stream/sale ratio) now at 17.2k.

What's confusing?

Not confused as such, just shocked at the terrible sales.
