Yeah, something tells me that's slashed his odds by a considerable amount

And of course the papers were all over it

"PRESSURE PILES ONTO PARDEW AFTER HAMMERING" etc etc

Pardew and Pearce are the main tragets atm in my opinion.

Southgate won't make it past Christmas either ...

why the vultures for Southgate? He's new, and he's done just as well as Benitez in the league ;)

I completely agree with you. I suspect that Southgate might make it up 2 February but definately won't make it past the end of the season.

I personally think Southgate has done quite well

Yeah, me too considering he's only just starting out with his management career

Managers like Pardew and Roeder you would expect better off because they've been in management a while.

It's not like Southgates' managerial career at Middlesbrough has been a complete catastrophe so far.. least they're not bottom :)

He's only won 2 games and lost to Notts County in the Cup. He's really not done that well and Boro are no better than they were before even though he's got a better squad than McLaren!

with a second string team -_-

Boro had 64 games last season, and that ultimately effected our league performance. So this season the Carling Cup was hardly a priority, improving in the league is. Southgate has masterminded 3 wins not 2, including Chelsea and Everton.

From where I'm sitting the big names like Benitez are far more vulnerable at the moment.

I don't think Liverpool would sack Benitez. Just yet anyhowz. ^_^ I mean Liverpool are playing like smurfs at the moment but I mean he's won the Champions League, The FA Cup and brought Liverpool's highest ever points tally in the Premiership over the past few years. ^_^ The Liverpool board would be wrong to sack him as well, as well I can't think of any other manager that would take over as Liverpool boss either.

it's that success that the board would like to see repeated

Well yeah your right there, but hopefully now Liverpool are back on track after todays result. ^_^

They will no way sack Benitez, its only about 16 months since he won the CL trophy

He is up there with Wenger and Ferguson as untouchable

I wouldn't have put him that league just yet. I think his job is as good as safe for the moment though. ^_^

I actually think though that Roeder could be the first sacking now. :o

Yeah 0-0 against Charlton at home :o

I think its the UEFA Cup performances that are keeping his job alive

Well Charlton really are on $h!t form at the moment and especially with a home crowd behind him you;d have though they'd win wouldn't you?. I mean they do have some injuries and everything but still, Newcastle are a big club and should be able to cope.

I think a lot of Newcastle fans are beginning to loose patience with the people in charge of the football club now.

I don't think Newcastle are bad enough to be relegated but certainly Shepherd will soon be asking why the £30m he spent this summer has not transmitted itself to good results on the pitch and at this rate I would be surprised if Roeder lasts the season maybe even gone by New Year I would say unless results improve, a lot of Newcastle fans want Curbishley apparently

16 months is a long time in management ^_^

He needs to be at the club a lot longer to be in the same league as Wenger and Ferguson yet. The Premiership has to be their next target.

Chelsea are untouchable they will win every Premiership going so long as Abramovich is there to spend £100m a season, Liverpool do not have the funds to compete with Chelsea, Man Utd are hanging on in there but I do not believe they have the finances to boost their squad to pull it off or the strength in depth, Arsenal rely on Henry and an injury to him and they will be ****ed

I think regular CL qualification is the best Liverpool can hope for

money may buy you star players but has Mourinho and the almighty Chelsky lifted the CL yet?

No, Liverpool did, with a tightly knit team, and great spirit. If they could carry that over to the domestic side of things, Chelsea should be scared
