He posted on his Instagram that we're going to be hearing a song with his own vocals on very soon.

YES! Slay me king with your own vocals.

Either way, I can't believe that he's doing a two-year gap to sing his own tracks now.

Well "My Way" is the worst song of his entire career so it's understandable that he's had to take singing lessons again since then.

Calvin's vocals >>>>>>

His songs with him singing always end up being my faves.

"My Way" is not the worst thing he's ever done

I say that but I can't think of what IS the worst thing. Perhaps "Merrymaking At My Place" in terms of singles. I certainly prefer listening to "My Way" over that! (I'm not a fan of "My Way" btw)

Hope he sounds as good as he looks in the Instagram tbh

My Way is probably down there for me, it's certainly not as bad as Heatstroke or Nuh Ready Nuh Ready or whatever it's called though :puke:

his worst was the song with Example (We'll be coming back) and that one called Wide Open or something like that with Sean Paul

Open Wide with Big Sean

hahaha that one, i knew there was some Sean in there ;)

personally, when he collaborates with rappers, results are poor most of the time, much prefer when he works with female singers like Ellie, Dua, Rihanna or Flo

I hope Adam wasn't referring to the following where he said that we will be hearing a song from him singing soon, but there will be a song from Benny Blanco which features him on vocals.

From The New York Times:

A decade on from his first string of No. 1s, Mr. Blanco is finally spending his cultural capital and cashing in some favors, inching toward name recognition with a run of singles credited to Benny Blanco that feature his big-time collaborators. The first, "Eastside," was released this month, written with Mr. Sheeran and featuring vocals from Halsey and Khalid.

Other A-list cameos will follow, as will the more adventurous stuff that he's got tucked away with the likes of Juice WRLD, Rex Orange County, Francis and the Lights, Calvin Harris (as a vocalist!) and more.

Open Wide with Big Sean

Oh lord I thankfully forgot that existed, Heatstroke and Nuh Ready all is forgiven!!

“Feel So Close” is by far his best tune because it brings back memories of Ibiza 2011 where I heard it a lot
