American Boy is so underrated! Third listen now and it’s my stand out favorite.

 

So many highs though as a whole it’s very strong probably their best.

So I finally listened to the album in full and I’m not liking it as much as I wanted too, there’s only four songs that I could see myself going back to. ‘Forget You Not’, ‘Think About Us’, Monster In Me’ and ‘Only You’. Such a massive drop in quality from Glory Days, although I think this is more of a sound their pushing for rather than pure pop like ‘Glory Days’! I can’t see anything past another era like ‘Salute’.

 

They do have some absolute bangers, I just hope the album grows on me!

From what I've managed to hear so far I agree,uts a change in sound and not as enjoyable, the pop bangers route i enjoyed from their last 2 albums aren't there and its diaappointing. I keep getting a spice girls forever vibe from this which isn't a compliment.

I can't believe there are people underwhelmed by this album. This is their first truly great album besides Salute.

Personally I'm not getting the 'Forever' comparison that FTF has made. Like, the only comparison between it and this is surely coz they've gone more Urban from pure pop? :lol:

I didnt expect the album to be number 3, i am sure the sales are very close.

The promotion lined up could hopefully be enough for it to make number 1.

I reckon M&S are frontloaded. I think it's a battle between Buble and LM.. and it could literally come down to streams!

 

M&S are embarking on a world tour which is supposed to set a record or something so I think a hell of a lot of their orders would have been tour bundles.

We need to hope that their performance of WLM goes down well enough tonight and see if it has any impact on the album.. I'm unsure in all honesty coz WLM doesn't strike me as the album selling type.
