As it's a 'compilation' then that should mean ALL the tracks are chart eligible too (I think!)

Well yes and no, as Kendrick has five songs on the soundtrack so two of those will be ineligible, but we shouldn't get a Loren Allred situation where another artist is refused a chart entry because of it (well except the ones of Kendrick's songs).

:ne: 43. James Bay - Wild Love

129. Ellie Goulding - How Long Will I Love You

Where’s this boost from?

Oh that's a great start for James! Intrigued to see how it holds up actually, I've got no idea what the public will make of it.
I imagine the Black Panther tracks will do pretty well. There has been lots of media coverage of the film itself.

How has Calum Scott done that again? Suddenly start selling on iTunes ages after the single was released?

I am pleased though. Loving the Leona version.

I believe it's discounted and is finally picking up in airplay. BBC Radio 2 B-listed it recently. Plus the video has been doing very well (it's been getting 1 million+ views a day for over a month). Will be interesting to see how it does with the push it's now getting.
