Totally disagree, with you, Girls Aloud deserve the number one spot as they totally re define the definition Pop band, they push the boundaries and create diverse and unique sounding music. And ok they dont write all there songs, but mcflys singles all sound the same and there is nothing unique about them

They are the epitome of manufactured, I mean for God's sake we all saw it on the telly! They churn out bland covers and they I don't get why people think they have earned a No.1?!? If there was any justice in the world, My Chemical Romance would remain No.1 but thats not gonna happen so I hope a band with some small amount of talent such as McFly keep the wannabes from the top spot.
October 24, 200619 yr People don't waste your energy arguing over the quality of Girls Aloud, mcfly don't deserve number one because they are arrogant losers who think they are brilliant when all theyre songs, even if they wirte them are boring, at least Girls Aloud create exciting pop music, ok theyve had a few duff singles but GA DO deserve number one more rant over sorry, thats how i feel :P :D

OK, they have had covers (ISBY, STD, and JUMP). But the other 9 Singles, have all been unique sounding! They have also earned number one by breaking away from the "REALITY TV CURSE", they are on there 13th Single (all top 10).
October 24, 200619 yr If the Killers are at #2 in the album chart & had sales of around 48k last week & Robbie's first day sales are 20k more than number 2 looks like this could be his lowest first week album sales.

Both Mcfly and Mcr's recent singles are absolute sh*te! girls aloud's single isnt the most well-lyrically written single in the world n we know they are manufactured etc etc. but seriously 'something kinda oooh' is a million times better than them. every single girls aloud have had has been pure pop amazement. one of the best girl groups ever and they deserve a 3rd number 1.
