October 24, 200619 yr they have earned a number one as they have released three pop masterpieces for albums, bringing a different type of pop into the limelight. OK, they have had covers (ISBY, STD, and JUMP). But the other 9 Singles, have all been unique sounding! They have also earned number one by breaking away from the "REALITY TV CURSE", they are on there 13th Single (all top 10). Ok fair enough, whatever you say. Shame they are not gonna get it though..... :P
October 24, 200619 yr No I really don't want to argue. It is just really annoying me the amount of Girls Aloud lovers there are on here. They are the epitome of manufactured, I mean for God's sake we all saw it on the telly! They churn out bland covers and they I don't get why people think they have earned a No.1?!? For the reason I stated before, I believe IN MY OPINION that they make better music than McFly. That's my opinion, as I said before it's pretty pointless debating someone's opinion because you aren't going to change it, we'll spend all day here and it won't change! Good music should make number one, and in this case that would be Girls Aloud over McFly. Even though I do like the McFly song a little bit
October 24, 200619 yr Surprised MCR arnt higher in the album chart :o Obvoiusly i new they be behind robbie, but thought they would be Number 2 at least
October 24, 200619 yr If the Killers are at #2 in the album chart & had sales of around 48k last week & Robbie's first day sales are 20k more than number 2 looks like this could be his lowest first week album sales. Yeh, that's what I was thinking :( That can't be more than 60k first day sales can it?

October 24, 200619 yr Perhaps music week listed the albums new entries backwards...it would make more sense that MCR are the next highest new entry...I can't see how John Legend cold outsell Meatloaf and MCR to be honest...
October 24, 200619 yr Well if Robbie Williams is 20k ahead of his nearest rival, then he hasnt sold as much as many expected. Usually he sells absolutely loads in his first day. I'm predicting this album wont be as big as his others.
October 24, 200619 yr What a $h!t week, McFly do not deserve to be 01 AT ALL :manson: GA SHOULD Beyonce should be Top 5, Cassie should be Top 10, and Rihanna should be Top 20 -_-
October 24, 200619 yr Perhaps music week listed the albums new entries backwards...it would make more sense that MCR are the next highest new entry...I can't see how John Legend cold outsell Meatloaf and MCR to be honest... Yes, I thought that was weird also. Maybe MCR at #2? I hope so :D
October 24, 200619 yr Author Yeh, that's what I was thinking :( That can't be more than 60k first day sales can it? That 20k in sales for Robbie's album can be a bit misleading
October 24, 200619 yr Really guttted about Girls Aloud not being #1 especially as McFly's downloads haven't been added yet (I don't think there's much anyway..) :( However, Girls Aloud singles have nearly always climbed from their mids position (ie a sales increase) so that should hopefully kick in this week. Shame in a way they released the download last week :( Also, apparently Upper Street are at #33
October 24, 200619 yr Robbie Williams is 20K clear it doesn't say how much it sold. I was expecting far more of a lead :o
October 24, 200619 yr totally gutted  mind you depending on if there aren't any big released next week and when mcfly fall to #30 at least GA could climb! :P Edited October 24, 200619 yr by darren
October 24, 200619 yr Even if McFly stay number one, they will have a HUUUUUGE fall next week  LMAO thats what I thought
October 24, 200619 yr ouch at upper street rumoured to be #33 aww bless, the song isnt that bad! i wont buy it mind
October 24, 200619 yr Author BTW, the last single to enter straight in at #1 was McFly, so that makes 6 singles this year to enter the chart at #1 compared of recent years
October 24, 200619 yr I hope The Ordinary Boys manage to maintain their top 15 position. :D Amy Winehouse isn't doing too bad either seeing as she isn't been stocked by Woolworths.
