Woulda been good to read it I suppose  Sorry! Yeh thought it would be some hype from that sort of source, let's hope the follow ups are better or maybe it'll grow!!

haha no worries! he released a follow up today - it's on Spotify. doesn't sound like a hit though, I feel like he'll be a one hit wonder ;)

Hate tracks that jump in and out of the top 10 like this!
Listened to Camila's album this week and found it very average. Nothing is near the quality of "Havana". "She Loves Control" is an obvious single though and is decent, "Never Be The Same" is decent enough too... slightly irritating chorus though. Have to be in the mood!

It's the album of the year for me, so so good and it just gets better with repeated listens imo!

Never Be the Same responding well to promo  Still has the official video to come too! Although I do kinda wish they'd hurry along to She Loves Control :kink:

Seems late for promo, this has been on the climb since the start of the year!

Marshmello

Enigmatic masked DJ/producer Marshmello makes groove-oriented, synth- and bass-heavy electronic dance music. In the spirit of other masked DJs like Deadmau5 and Daft Punk, Marshmello (whose real identity remains a mystery) appears wearing a full-head-covering marshmallow mask. Despite the anonymity, Marshmello's career blew up in 2015 when he began releasing tracks online, including remixes of Zedd's "Beautiful Now," Jack Ü's "Where Are U Now," and others. From there came shows at New York's Pier 94, Pomona, California's HARD Day of the Dead festival, and Miami Music Week. In 2016, Marshmello released a compilation of his previously released tracks, Joytime, which reached number one on a digital top electronic albums chart. Included on the album was the single "Keep It Mello," featuring rapper Omar LinX. He continued to perform and release singles throughout the year, later starting his own Joytime Collective record label. In 2017, Marshmello released collaborations with Ookay, Noah Cyrus, Khalid, and Blackbear. - iTunes

Dunno my OCD likes clean upward movement to a peak then a clean fall rather than up and down!

I'll give it a 2nd listen at some point to be fair but I wasn't getting the fuss...

Wonder where "FRIENDS" will peak... I think Anne-Marie is her own worst enemy on this track.
Seems like this is gonna be pretty big! Wonder if it's Marshmello people love (or record companies are paying Spotify to push) or Anne Marie??
anyone else feel as though FRIENDS has been bizzarely low this week and last week?? looking at its placings on Spotify, Apple Music & iTunes it seems as though it's just... too low?

I expect it's the name-power of both :P

I believe its Spotify total includes the automatic plays of the video that's included on certain Spotify playlists, but the official chart won't count this so it's deceivingly high on Spotify!

Biography

Liam Payne

Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as a member of the band One Direction. In 2016, Payne signed a recording deal with Capitol Records as a solo artist, and with Republic Records in the United States.

Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned as a solo artist for the British television series The X Factor in 2008 with "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra. Though cut by Simon Cowell following judge's house, Payne was encouraged to audition again. He reauditioned as a solo artist in 2010, where he was put into a group along with four other contestants, to form the boy band that would later become known as One Direction. Since joining One Direction, Payne, along with bandmates Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and former bandmate Zayn Malik, have released five commercially successful albums, performed on four worldwide tours, one featured on concert film One Direction: This Is Us, and won multiple awards, including two BRIT Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards.

Payne has worked independently under the monikers "Big Payno" and "Payno" creating remixes for songs by his band and singer Cheryl. On 19 May 2017, Payne released his debut single "Strip That Down", the lead single from his upcoming debut solo album. - Wikipedia

Rita Ora

Rita Sahatçiu Ora (born Rita Sahatçiu; 26 November 1990) is a British singer and actress. She rose to prominence in February 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh's single "Hot Right Now", which reached number one in the UK. Her debut studio album, Ora, released in August 2012, debuted at number one in the United Kingdom. The album contained the UK number-one singles "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)". Ora was the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012, with three consecutive singles reaching the top position.

In January 2014, Adidas announced a designer collaboration with Ora for their brand, Adidas Originals. Also in 2014, her single "I Will Never Let You Down" became her fourth UK number one, and she featured on Iggy Azalea's single "Black Widow", which reached the top five in the UK and the US. The lead single from her upcoming second studio album, "Your Song", reached number seven in the UK, in July 2017. - Wikipedia

Marshmello's pop production seems to be really popular with the GP in the UK, I reckon he'll end up as big as Calvin Harris was in 2012-14, just getting top 10's with every single he puts out.

Did they take the bleep out of this version? That's one less irritation  Now for "FRINDS"...
Two of the best songs of the year in a row *.* Rita absolutely SLAYED at the BRITs on Wednesday

not the OCC actually being accurate :o
