February 23, 20187 yr Little Mix definitely should've won over Harry Styles as a personal opinion, but I don't believe that there is a 'conspiracy' to stop them from winning. I saw some screenshots on twitter of Little Mix appearing to have won (from the website) but it's far more likely that there was an error with that site rather than the BRITs having a problem with Little Mix having the most votes and giving it to Harry instead. It also seems totally believable that Harry would have won a vote based on who had the most rabid twitter fanbase, and I would've been very surprised if he didn't win.
February 23, 20187 yr Yes, all awards shows are in a way :lol: we don't know who is voting for the nominations, awards and winners.
February 23, 20187 yr I think either the leaderboard froze at a certain point, so as not to spoil the result, or it counted ineligible duplicated votes. Either are pretty likely explanations for the leaderboard drama. (besides, they didn't deserve it for the atrocious Touch video anyway :kink:)
February 23, 20187 yr I do think there was possibly a mistake. But there’s literally no reason why the Brits would want to rig it in Harry’s favour. Little Mix were in attendance and The Brits know them winning would make headlines. And they don’t care about Harry that much - he was snubbed from all the major catagories!

February 24, 20187 yr I can’t believe Ed Sheeran was snubbed he has easily had the biggest album and been the biggest act of the last few years! He wasn’t snubbed? He was nominated for loads. He lost out with best album and Male because Stormzy was much more critically acclaimed than Ed. But Ed won the Global award which is the award most based on sales and chart success.

March 23, 20187 yr I don't think it was rigged. If it was rigged, they would have rigged the leaderboard as well so we don't see LM as #1 up to the end.
May 28, 20187 yr It wasn’t rigged. Little Mix fans do the most when it comes to The Brits. They were one of many, many artists who weren’t eligible and somehow it was unfair for Little Mix for best group.

Spice Girls never won best group (in fact they weren't even nominated for the Spiceworld era) and they were the biggest band on the planet. If they didn't win that award Little Mix are highly unlikely as another pop girl group to win it.
