Better not be a hoax! I can’t wait to build my collection of earlier editions!

I hope not either. If amazon put a pre-order link to both vinyl and CD, then it should be true and they shouldn’t build people’s hopes up if it’s not

Amazon are normally pretty reliable. I’m sure they’ll officially announce it soon.

Seeing as NOW 2 will be released on the same day as NOW 102, I’ll be shocked if 2 beats 102 to the top of the compilation chart

Wasn’t the re-release of Now 1 out on the same day as 100? Now 2 will fly off the shelves most probably faster than 102 with people wanting to fill the gaps in their earlier collections. Hopefully will make Now re-issue more of the earlier editions.

If they were to re-issue NOW 3, they might have to alter the tracklist like move Queen to track 1 and replace Gary Glitter and yeah, NOW 1 was re-released on the same day as NOW 100 but it also got released for the first time on CD in January 2009 to celebrate NOW's 25th anniversary

If they need to remove Gary Glitter from the tracklist in order to get Now 3 re-issued then so be it as far as I'm concerned!
NOW have announced a clue on their Facebook which means NOW 2 on CD is really happening
If they release NOW 3 on CD and they have to remove Gary Glitter, they could replace him with one of the tracks which only appeared on the video version of NOW 3

I'd leave him on and stop trying to re-write musical history but I know they won't. I can separate the music from the man.

There's absolutely no chance they'll sell it with him on it, there'd be a backlash if they did.

I know that. Of course I do.

Wonder if they'll re-release Now 4 then as a double CD. It was only available as a single CD of course and changes hands for around £500 now and that's for a very good copy. Only 500 were rumoured to have been issued.

Never knew it had a CD release as I thought that started with Now 10!

Lmao it’s going for £600 on Amazon!

That’s why as I said in a previous comment that they should replace him with one of the tracks which only appeared on the video version of NOW 3

Yeah just 500 pressed so no wonder it's worth a lot. Told my wife to keep a look out for it in the car boot sales as quite a few haven't been accounted for so must be lurking in someone's collection. I keep checking the charity shops but most who work there are now aware of it's worth so it would never be put on sale.

Dance Me Up isn't one of his better known tracks.

In other news, they need to include "Advice" on NOW 102 as a tribute to Cadet
The series would be much better if they didn't include censored versions of songs, but probably too many kids buy them, so they're not going to include explicit versions. The dead air from the censorship on a lot of the tracks is just awkward to hear.
Certainly up until a few years ago many kids bought the latest Now CD or it would be bought for them by parents and the fact they've included censored versions of songs is probably one of the reasons of the series success.

I quite liked that you would get UK/radio edits that either were only played on radio or never heard before (e.g. will.i.am/Leah McFall)
