as expected lots of avicii, with Levels the highest at #5, #7,8,9 & 10 all avicii

Edited by Bjork

If not for the OCC’s rules Without You could’ve got a higher peak this week
oh my god all this avicii wow, Levels in the top 5 this is incredible

This is when I get so torn on the new chart rules

On the one hand I'm glad we won't have like 8 new J Cole tracks clogging up the top 40

But I'm dissappointed all the love for Avicci won't really be represented in the charts, defintley should be 3 songs per album

Those streams for Calvin/Dua and Drake are crazy! Clearly the weather has made a huge impact on their streams Friday.

On any other week those streams for Ariana would be a great opening. I just hope it continues to build over the week and is gaining enough downloads to get ahead of those streams. Probably looking at a #2 chart position at best this week now.

On the one hand your saying the weather is the reason Calua is doing so well while stating that Arianas streams would be that huge in a normal week too when she may well be benefiting from those same reasons too. She will end up where she ends up.

Then you could just imagine Drake releasing five three-track EPs :')

Remember the Avicii songs will almost certainly be on ACR, but I think we'll have a nice impact from his top 3 eligible songs anyway.

But then all the love for J Cole won’t be represented in the charts either (I don’t like his music personally).

Two completely different situations

100% different

With avicii people are streaming tracks and singles

With J cole people are streaming the album so shoildnt count for both charts

Agree the 3 track rule is total not per album cos otherwise drake and ed would find ways around it

Not necessarily.... I’m streaming Avicii’s albums and EP’s separately, and I’m sure many others are too.

Big jump for Liam/J Balvin even with all the avicii songs entering above them. Hopefully it keeps growing, I think it could be a huge hit over the summer.
Unrelated but on the subject of the three track rule, if an artist had three solo tracks in the chart from an album and then a song is released by another artist featuring the artist with three tracks in the chart will one of the album tracks have to leave the charts or does a feature not count as part of three track rule?

Features don't count. For example, at the moment, Cardi B has 3 of her own songs charting ('I Like It', 'Be Careful' and 'Drip'), as well as 'Finesse' which she features on.

Easy to have a compromise. Whenever an artist passes away and their songs end up on the chart, that should be excluded from the rule I think. The rest of the time, the rule should apply.
