Well I highly doubt Katy is releasing her single in the same week as a Rihanna, Adele or Gaga comeback single.

There’s a chance Katy might not know that the release of a comeback of one of those was planned for the same time.

Katy’s not said anything about her release herself either so she could easily pushback. Although not too much as she could clash with Taylor’s opening album week.

It hasn’t been confirmed it’s music related though but it is what I think makes the most sense and would generate the big TV takeover.

Someone on Twitter has heard "from reliable source" that the album is currently being mastered in the same studio where ASIB was finalised in Nashville.

However, people have so much fantasies around Gaga, so wouldn't take that as a fact. If it's true, the album should come out on September/October.

I just really hope the album doesn’t come out the same week as Westlife and comes before Adele.

I really want a #1 debut. I’d even happily wait until Q1 2020 and get a February release just so she gets that #1.

Orrr maybe it's just a good studio?

Is it a studio she’s used before the ASIB era?’

I definitely don’t think the albums gonna follow on from that type of sound.

I think it’s gonna be a lot more POP but more in the Bowie type of sound with glam rock influences.

I'm torn on what I want from LG6. I've combined the best bits of Joanne and ASIB for a playlist and it really is brilliant, I'm definitely up for hearing more of that sort of sound... but then the pop side of me misses her giving us tracks that literally nobody else could ever. I'd probably settle for somewhere between... and just reading Jordan's post above, I'd definitely be up for Bowie influences! *.*
Joanne was mastered there too I think. It's Sterling Sound in Nashville which has mastered so many albums from Adele and Muse to BTS so can't really tell based on that what the album is going to be like.

No... that can't be it... not after ARTPOP, Joanne and half of BTW...

the ATRL post regarding this

"They are mastering/cutting in Nashville. Stage when audio engineer gets involved.

Sterling Sound studio where she does the mastering, is no longer at the Chelsea market. They moved to NJ and Nashville.

ASIB st was her first album to have its masters cut in Nashville. The same engineer is currently lacquer cutting LG6 masters in Nashville."

I'm very confused by literally everyone in this fanbase having the conclusion that he was talking about LG6 when he said that. It's more than obvious he meant the ASIB era. He literally said nothing about LG6.
