It's nothing new - but everytime she mentions this era it's alongside the pain it took to write it  Grateful for the gift she gave us out of the darkness <3
After initially hammering this when it was first released, I'm finding it's one of my least returned to Gaga albums which I'm quite shocked at :(

Really!? I'm forever returning to this and even Dawn of Chromatica! I think only Born This Way will top it for albums I return to more but we'll see over the years...

And a few more words on the pain of the recording process

"Almost every day that I went into the studio, I didn't want to be there.I used to say: I'm so depressed on a clinical deep level, and I don't want to create anything. During that time, that music didn't make me happy, entertainment or performing didn't make me happy."

:(

I don't get why some people are saying she HATES Chromatica. Painful process does not equal hate. The album has a purpose and the songs are meaningful. In coming years she might think it's her most important album!

Now that enough time has passed, I think I can now say this ranks as her third best solo project for me.

Born This Way and The Fame Monster are slightly ahead but this does go off and it’s a very joyous whole listening experience.

Apparently this has sold 169k units in the UK.

Do you know how much Joanne has sold? The last figure I have is 168k ironically.

Replay has overtaken Dancin' in Circles on Spotify - just shows how much her album streams have grown through the years. DIC is over 5 years old, Replay did the same in a bit more 1.5 years.
