I’m likely in the minority here but I’m kind of liking Gagas new style of not hyping albums up and not revealing much either!

 

I’m definitely looking forward to this still, it’s obviously a huge shame it didn’t come out like initially planned but it’ll be so special the day it does come out whenever that may be.

 

I just hope there’s no album chart battle because we nearly had one with Gerry, we could get one with the 1975. Just pls pick a clear week with no competition :lol:

I agree though that the less is more strategy works better for her now!

Let's face it, even if she wanted to, the record company wouldn't stump up the cash for that type of promo for her anymore.
A single banner on Spotify is probabaly better promotion now than Billbaords up and down the entire country, and I feel like her streaming promo will be decent this time around.

Yeah, post-A Star is Born, and getting a glimpse at the promotion Stupid Love received, i'm no longer too worried about how her streaming will look for this era! We shall see though~

An insider (who has got things correct in the past) has revealed that Gaga is planning to do something with Fortnite for Chromatica. Anything close to Travis Scott's Fortnite concert will be OUT OF THIS WORLD :cheeseblock:

A wise post from GGD which I've featured in the Chromatica thread there. People won't take any notice but it's nice to see some people being rational about this new era.

 

It's the problem that she's in a lose lose situation if she tries to post anything. The post last week was an attempt to reach out without giving news that could potentially be "taken back" and changed. But some people only want cold hard release dates - which is something that can't be given reliably right now with how much things have been subject to change. It's very disappointing on both sides, but if there's silence there is silence. We just have to wait through it, getting angry and being loud about it isn't going to change the current status and magically make a date materialize after all.

It's a tough and uncertain time for everyone. Let her do what she needs to in this time and let's be grateful we're getting a new album full stop!

There's so many artists delaying their albums indefinitely right now, I don't see why Gaga should be made of an example of.

 

We will get the album, people need to be patient and gain some perspective.

I think it's just a case of her fans being more rabid than others :manson:

 

I'm happy waiting. Obviously information would be good to hear, but the situation is so unpredictable so it'd be impossible to predict. The album still hasn't leaked despite all the scaremongering about it, so for now, waiting is ok! If/when a leak happens, then maybe the situation could change...
